Lol i thought i saw him doing this

It was after he was taken out you could see him trying to hide the fact he was eating a hotdog on the sideline LOL

Hey the mans hungry and his nerves before the game probably didnt allow him to eat anything....Some people ive heard talk about this seem to be making a big deal

What does anyone else think?

Meh, it was the Raiders. He could have eaten the hot dog while he was on the field and the Jets still would have won that game.

At least he wasn't sucking a dick like Brady.

I read that he said that he had been sick all week so he didn't eat much prior to the game and then he got hungry during it

So why did he eat a hot dog of all things? That will usually just make you even sicker...

What, Gay Brady does this every game, and nobody seems to make an issue of it.

...oh. You meant he was literally eating a hot dog, like the food. never mind.

I don't see the problem. If he's hungry he should eat.

Gates Brown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gates_Brown) might not be too happy if Sanchez gets a pass.

I think the problem was that he might get ketchup and relish on the football. He is a growing boy and needs to eat. Don't be a goyam.

OMG, NOT A HOT DOG!

Big deal. He had been pulled already and was hungry.

Only in New York would this be news.

Me Neither.

I have more of a problem with the hot dogging after making a special teams tackle than a little noshing on the sidelines. He could go Kobyashi and eat 30 if I never had to see a 3rd stringer celebrate a simple tackle on a kickoff.

OMG.....Whats next......Apple pie for desert?? Maybe watch the Yankee game afterwards.

Who cares. Except for maybe his agent. He's probably working a deal with Oscar Mayer as we speak.

When I was a kid, I was watching a game where the RB for the LA Rams, Wendell Tyler ate a couple of hotdogs because he thought he wouldn't be playing. Low and behold the starting RB goes down and Tyler comes into the game. First hit and he didn't have time to remove his helmet before filling it with barf.

Oh the childhood memories. :chuckle:

Yeah, apparently there's some ridiculous unwritten rule of etiquette that you can't eat on the sideline. That being said, he should have just run into the locker room to sneak in some food.

Yes! Fish tacos are great. I love watching people eat them for the first time. They think a fish taco is like a regular taco so they are hesitant, then BAM!

You're probably right!!

From what I understand, it's not like he was sprawled out on the bench eating it and washing it down with a Coke because he thought he could relax because the game was pretty much over. He was eating it off to the side where it did not look too obvious. But I guess somebody caught him.
That said, I think it was probably not the smartest thing he could have done.

I seen on NFL network before that Pickens (reciever for the Bengals in the 90's use to have 2 snuck to him per game in a towel. They played the audio of him asking a staff member to go to his locker get money and go buy 2 hot dogs. It was pretty funny because it was like a sin to eat them..lol

Just shooting from the hip, I really do not care what he does...but IMO... show some interest in the game your team is playing, just fricken wait a bit before you chow on a hotdog..... Plus if he was to go back into the game....who wants a QB in the huddle yelling at you with hotdog breath...
