I always like to look at the stats, but we all know there's only 1 stat that truly matters and that's the score.
If these Vikes fans aren't complaining about the refs they're busy spewing how their team dominated us statistically.

REALLY! Let's take a look at the domination they're speaking of. They want to point out time of posession and total yards, which they had the advantage on both.

However, what they won't say or even think about is the fact that the Vikings had 13 offensive posessions to our 10. This was due to the fact that we had 2 turnover returns for TD's. Thus, no time of posession and no offensive yardage compiled. On the other hand our only turnover was inside their 5 yardline with no return, giving them a full field of yardage and time of posession. They had a nice long drive which padded both stats right up until Favre turned it over.
Had we not returned either turnover we would have only had to hold the ball for 3:30 on each drive and we would have ended up with the T.O.P stat being in our favor.
In addition, they opened the game with the ball and finished the game with the ball. On the last drive they moved the ball 50 meaningless yards as we protected a 10 point lead with seconds remaining in a prevent.
The 50 meaningless yards plus the 2 extra posessions had we not had the returns may have given us the yardage totals as well.

In the end, we all know who stats and compaining about calls are for.

LOSERS!

hahahaha vikings fans, actually, just opponents of the steelers fans, seems like they always have somethin to bitch about after they lose to us, hell they should be glad they lost to a team with 6 lombardi trophies instead of a team with 0, like the vikings

We dominated the Cowboys statistically in Super Bowl XXX. We had more passing yards, twice as many rushing yards and almost 10 minutes more of TOP. When do we get our 7th Lombardi Trophy? :coffee:

There is one, AND ONLY ONE, stat that matters and directly relates to the score of any football game

and that is TURNOVERS
He who wins the turnover battle generally wins the game

Look at this past Sunday

Look at SB 43

Look at SB 30
