Give it up to Cedrick Wilson! Holy savior! What a game he had today! What a gamebreaker! Geeze. I had to double-take to believe that he caught some of those balls. He just signed his new contract! Vote for him on nfl.com as the key to the game! Or any Steeler i guess.

His TD catch was beautiful.... I wasn't the guys #! fan during the regular season, but I guess you just need some oppurtunities to show your stuff. He's got those oppurtunities in the playoffs and has capitalized.

Cedric has been money in the post season. Coming from a guy crying about not getting any catches in the regular season, he's been HUGE for us

He did play an amazing game---If he keeps holding onto the balls thrown his way like today, he's gonna be another great deep threat for Pittsburgh. Another guy to watch out for too: Nate Washington! Might just take Morgan's job!

Dudes. He is like the bizarro wide receiver for Plaxico. He is short, has no regular season career, but then instead of disappearing in the postseasaon, bam, he has the game of the year! Go Ced! Another dimension to defend, sweet.

All hail Cedrick the Entertainer!!

I defended him earlier when some thought he was worthless. I've always felt he has the talent to make big plays he just needs oportunities and today he took full advantage.. Way to go Cedric I'm so glad we snatched you from the gaydom that is the 49ers.. Your hands looked very use to gripping those balls today :)

Uhh... I was freaking out on Denver, because they would just leave him go and make a grab... lol. I'm glad im not the coach, I may have tore someone's head off.

he's definitely surprised a lot of us. he had the potential during the regular season but would never follow thru...but I'm glad he's stepped up for us now :) good job, #80

Cedric most definitely stepped up his game yesterday in a huge way. Thanks, Cedric!

I was very critical of CW all season long and for good reason in my opinion. Specially after his comments in the PPG, but the guy has stepped up. Hat's off.

Wilson has had a great post-season. And good thing to, as Randle El is a UFA. Nice to have an option.

He had a boss game along with Big Ben, Well done Cedrick! Did he start over Randle El?
01-23-2006, 09:24 AM
I don't believe he started over Randle El. Was the 3rd WR in the 3 and 4 sets. He seemed to drop balls earlier in the season but has been on fire lately, coming back for an underthrow or two from Ben and getting open near the sidelines 10-15 yards down the field.
I think a big reason is the change in playcalling. Huge contrast from the middle of the season to now.
I was very impressed with Ced yesterday... I think it's unlikely that we can resign El, and he will fill that void nicely.
