I was laughing my ass off after that 24 yard punt in the second half. It was a nice bookend for the 27 yarder he kicked out of bounds in the first half. What in the WORLD were they thinking when they signed him? LOL

I imagine it was something like "Berger...Berger...Wait! He won a Super Bowl last year, didn't he? Sign him! I can't believe a Super Bowl winning punter is still on the streets. Film? Why would we watch film on him? He WON a Super Bowl!"

Yeah, I dont see anybody complaining about spending a 4th round pick on Sepulveda now.

Did anybody notice Sepulveda's tackle on the punt return or quick hands on a bad PAT snap?? Dude is a good football player, than can kick!!

Sepulveda has the leg and has clearly shown that he isn't afraid to make a tackle. So why are the Steelers content on letting Reed still do the kickoffs?

As for Berger, man, he looks worse than last year. But it would not surprise me if Josh McDaniels cuts him after this week. He got his use out of Berger, which was to pick his brain and get inside info on the Steelers. After all, he was a disciple of Bill Belicheat.

My brother and i were wondering the same thing. Why in the hell would anyone pick Berger up. Apparently they havent seen his performance last season. Im sure Denver had a better punter than him on the roster or did they pick him up dirt cheap.

Now we know how other teams felt when we had Berger punting for us. I am so glad that guy is not a Steeler anymore.

Obviously the broncos didn't look at enough of his game film from his last year with the Steelers.

You don't need to. He got himself a purty, shiny brandy new Super Bowl XLIII ring full o' bling to show off. He should be thanking his lucky stars that DSep got hurt last season and we needed a punter fast and in a hurry.

I am still disturbed that we actually had Berger on our roster last season. Once again he showed last night while he should no longer be punting in the NFL.
