...on that deflected pass and hines bounced right up (whats new?). i dont think ive ever seen lynch lay the wood like that and his victim shake it off like it was nothing. ward is definitely the toughest wr in the league.

We would all have to agree with that, pound for pound, toughest in the NFL

and of course Hines came up smiling. he only smiles when he gets hit hard...I'm sure he was grinning from ear to ear after that one lol

There are probably a lot of receivers in the league who would not have gotten up after a hit like that. Hines is tough as Steel.

Yeah, that was a bone rattler.
I cringed and was praising Hines when he got up!
Sometimes they make it look like it doesn't hurt at all.. but man.. it has to KILL!!

He is an awesome Reciever!

I think I saw an interview one time w/Hines where he said those hard hits absolutely do hurt, but he always comes up smiling because he will never let them see him sweat. That was the gist of what he said anyway.

I absolutely love Hines, and if you've ever heard his story you will love him even more.

On top of that, I respect the shit out of him, seeing as he is a physical receiving, and he knows he is not going to be Terrell Owens, or Steve Smith, he KNOWS he will not get 15receptions in a game yet he sticks around and always has a good time playing. I love the smiling, great guy, amazing athlete, and a big chunk of the Steelers.

To me it looked like Lynch got the worst of that hit. Watch it again.

Yeah, but what about the block that the Bus put on Lynch?

That was a huge play early in the game. Not only did Bailey almost get a pick, but if Hines drops it from the hit the place would have went nuts. Could have been a big tone setter for Denver's D. As it happened, it was like we took their best jab and knockout punch right on the chin and smiled back. Great play.

Heinz Ward is an above average receiver, but no more than that. Plaxico Burress is a much more dangerous weapon and Pittsburgh will miss him in the Super Bowl

Heinz Ward is really just a short yardage specialist. I don't think Seattle is to concerned with him

Just what team do you cheer for?? Did ya notice the fade pass to the corner of the endzone,we couldn't do that last year because Exlaxico didn't know how to run the route. If a WR is 6-10 or whatever that should be HIS route. Exlaxico cost us the game last year against the Pats. You are still obiviously suffering from your CRANIAL RECTUM INVERSION!!!
The only BUSWRECK we are interested in is the hurting BETTIS put on LYNCH !! Crawl back under your rock!!!

yeah that's why i like ward a lot, he takes hits and gives hits. i think him and keyshawn johnson are the toughest in the league. i like how johnson will go down the middle with no worries and always come up with the ball
