nope he wont be in the rest of the game. He tweaked his knee that was injured earlier in the season.

If he's out for a long period we could be fighting for a playoff spot ... not good.

Just received an ESPN Alert that Troy will be undergoing an MRI on his knee.

I want Troy in there as much as the next fan, but part of me hopes he does have to sit for all or most of the season. He is a big part of our future. Troy needs to take care of himself.

hoping and thinking it is all just precaution, didn't look like a bad injury on the play. hopefully just tweaked it a little. Sit him next week regardless.

The yahoo page says, because he went in with the doctor and not the trainer, it may not be that serious.

Troy getting an MRI

"Right now, all I can tell you is he's in the process of getting an MRI," Tomlin said.

Well at least it wasn't more serious. The Steeler Nation definitely exhales now :chuckle: When Troy does come back and say he would tweak the knee again, at what point do you say to just shut him down for the year?

I say no news is good news. He rests a week and comes back to smack around the Rats.

Just scope the knee now. A 3 week max process. I had my knee scoped and I was back in action in 4 weeks. I not a top notch pro with the best rehab team avalible to me either.

may not need to be scoped. This seems like a precaution more then anything at this point. Rest it this week and see where it is next tuesday or so.
