Pittsburgh is not the only team to win 3 road games, to advance to the Super Bowl. However they were the first 6 seed. The last team to win 3 road games and advance to the Super Bowl, was in 1985, when yes the New England Patriots went to the Super Bowl... The rest is history, New England went on to get blown out 46-10.

Let's hope the same thing doesn't happen. lol.

theres a distinct difference. those patriots sucked and were the worst team to ever make it to a sb. lol

I don't believe anyone is confusing the Seahawks with the '85 Bears and Ben certainly isn't the second coming of the immortal Tony Eason.

Yea the bears were a team to fear that year. But back to the topic we wont be like the 85 pats.

Hopefully there will be one similarity between the 85 bears & the 05 seahawks. If I remember right, their great running back, Walter Payton, did not find the end zone on that particular Sunday. So maybe Mr Alexander will loose his map to the land of touchdowns as well.
