There's a stat out there that shows teams that lose the turnover battle by 2 T/O's or more will lose the game 96% of the time. Today we lost that battle 3 to 1. Even like today when the T/O's were committed early and it looks like the team may be able to overcome the T/O's it always comes back to haunt them.
I told my buddy about the stat late in the game when we had a 7 point lead. I told him if we didn't get a pick or a fumble we were going to blow this game.
