This is rediculous how come we always get called for holding when other teams can molest our LB's each series

The run was at least moving the chains. Dix's run would have been great had it not been for Hartwig's holding call.

revefsreleets

That holding call was legit....but it makes me VERY angry...Harrison has worse done to him and nearly EVERY play. And they just negated a huge splash play....

We need a make-up call in this series (since Harrison is held EVERY play, holding can be legitimately called on ANY play)....

I agree... Trial by Fire. I think the first 3 series will be used to get him acclimated... honestly he needs to get hit a couple times. He's slowly getting a little more used to the game I think. Hopefully Arians will open it up for him a little

After seeing Harrison get pushed in the back down to the ground as he was getting ready to sack Flacco and no flag called in the first series, the D just gave up after that. Now the lopsided calls on O, already the fix is in to eliminate the Steelers.

I am beginning to think there is a conspiracy.

You know, I actually didn't have a problem with what they did to Harrison, didn't think it was holding.

But now I see how they care calling holding against us? I completely change my mind. If THAT was holding, then the missed call on Harrison is 15 yards and ejection for intent to injure;.

And now they have to punt and we'll have the ball back...

3rd and long in our own territory is NOT the place to open up the offense with DD. Let him get acclimated and comfortable, let the game come to him, and we can open up a little more.

ALSO, if we keep running the ball the Rats are gonna start cheating against it...and we can exploit that...

well, Dixon did play in a spread O in college so its probably best we cater a bit to that in his first game (a game on the road against the Ravens no less). Best part is we're moving the ball so maybe we'll get their D to bite up a bit and have something open up deep for us to exploit

NO! Don't make sense! Arians sucks and has no idea what he's doing and THAT'S final!

Seriously, Arians is doing a nice job of turning Dixon's apparent lack of experience AGAINST the Ratbirds.

He's going to have to throw a little more in the second half, but we can still use a little shiftiness to make that job easier on him.

You say it as if its Dixon calling the plays

you also have to have a legitimate established run threat for play action to work, something Ben hasn't had in every one of his games this season.
