The Saints. While I'm in no way a Colts fan, it would be kinda of cool to see see two undefeated teams go head to head in the big game. And see Manning go down in flames. :chuckle:

I'm pulling for the Saints or Green Bay. I'd love to see Rodgers shove it up Favre and the Vikings asses.

i'm not rooting for them, but this may be the chargers year. no steelers or pats, and they always beat the colts.

i might root for the saints or arizona since they never won anything and were bad for so long.

I can live with that.

My golfing buddy is a long suffering Saints fan. When the Steelers are out I'm pulling for Who Dat not Who Dey.

Good Super Bowl commercials and thankful for the extra time to watch College basketball.

OH, and a quick exit from the playoffs for the Bengals, as well as no ENTRANCE for the Pats. I can read about those here and in the paper, though...

The Colts in the AFC and the Saints in the NFC. If we see a Colts/Saints SB, I'm definitely pulling for that "other black 'n gold team". :hope:

Probably the Eagles, since my fiancee roots for them (being from Philly).

But honestly, I can't get THAT excited about it.

Colts and Saints in the SB both undefeated....

Colts winning it all.

Why? Because it would be the ultimate stick in the eye to the cheating pats* who would become just a further footnote in history.

I'll be pulling for the Saints. I have always liked Drew Brees.

Saints.

A few others I wouldn't mind: Vikings (Brett, yeah I know that's an unpopular opinion), Eagles (McNabb has taken a lot of undeserved crap), Cardinals (Pittsburgh West), Chargers (seal the Class of 2004 as the best ever). Plus none of those have ever won a Lombardi.

Oh, and anyone not named the Pats* or Bungholes.

A Team that hasn't won in in the past 30 years...or ever.

Cardinals at the top of that list. But only because of Larry Fitzgerald.

Saints in the NFL. That way I can still root for black, (pale) gold, and white.

Chargers in the AFC since they have never won a superbowl.

Any team playing against the Cheatriots or the Cowturds.

Just think of them as the New Orleans Penguins....same colors, different name, different sport. But it'll make people in Pittsburgh feel better.

Kudo's to the first person in Pittsburgh that tapes a Saints emblem to their Pens jersey if they make it to the Superbowl.

Anybody but NE, Dallas, Baltimore, or Cincy.

Hell, I'd root for the other 3 before I'd even dream of rooting for Dallas.

WH

I would only root for Dallas because Jason Witten won me a fantasy championship last year. But they aren't going to the Superbowl this year...so it doesn't matter.

The Steelers for the last three games! :tt02:

Then after that probly the saints. About the only ones I could stomach watching win one.

The Jags. Their franchise needs something positive to get fans in the stands.

Imagine how conflicted those players on the '72 Dolphins would be. :chuckle:

For the record if I had a choice, I would go with the Saints as the team I would hope to win it all.

Probably the Packers. The Saints would be a close second.

Saints/Colts

Don't sleep on the Eagles and Chargers - both are playing lights out and peaking at the right time.

wow dude...your team isn't even out of the playoffs yet and your rooting for the saints ? :chuckle: its december. the cowboys are out of it. theyre done.

strangely i like more nfc teams this year. every nfc playoff game should be a good one where i wont be upset of the outcome, being that the cowboys wont be in it.

arizona
saints
eagles
vikings
green bay

(in that order. i would have no problem if any of them won it all.)

but on the afc side it is only the colts or chargers. anyone else and i will definitely be rooting for any of the 5 nfc teams listed above.

Lived in New Orleans for 20 years after I moved from North Texas(and moved back to NT 3 years ago after the storm) - I'll admit the Saints grew on me having being around alot of the fans and the city for a long time.

I can only bring myself to pull for another team when they are up against a team I really despise. Since none of those teams are realisticly in the hunt this year, I doubt (outside of this forum) I will give it much thought at all.
