I don't think it is a lack of desire.

I don't think it is a lack of desire.

Well, it's not a lack of talent.

Well, it's not a lack of talent.

What if the talent just got old? In the NFL, you get old overnight.

So the steelers got old in 9 weeks. Is that some sort of record or are we moving at the speed of light.

It is what it is.

I don't buy that BS.

This is why I think the NFL should have a game winning supplement. 10% of salary cap should be set aside to pay for the winning team for each game. The payments would be in equal amounts to each player on the team.

For example, if the salary cap is $100 million or 3.2 billion for all teams. That means $320 million would be set aside as a winning game supplement. For each game the teams would be playing for 1.2 million. The winning team would share the purse equally, or 23,000 dollars to each player.

Not huge money, but it adds up over the season. It provides extra incentive for games where both teams are not playoff bound.

Then you would see interesting games where a QB would lead his team on a 1.2 million 4th qtr. winning drive. Or the defense would defend against a game winning play for 1.2 million.
