I was just wondering if it has been decided that Troy will sit out the rest of the season or will he return for the Packers game?

Considering that the season is for all intensive purposes done in regards to the playoffs, I'd say rest Troy as long as necessary to make sure he gets a full recovery. If that means the rest of the year, so be it. I don't want to risk being without him next year.

I think it should be considered and if surgery is needed it should be done sooner rather than later.

Troy should sit, we need to see if the young guys on the roster can play.

Sit him.

If we rally, and with a bit of luck, make playoffs. We'll need him.

We also need to win without him.

I think you will see him again this season one of the biggest reasons is to see if we can get it back together this season.

This may sound dumb but I would be surprised if Troy is in the NFL for too much longer. Also, as good as he is he is very injury prone and I just don't think we can count on him for a whole season. He is definately the best Safety in the NFL barr none but when you here him talk football is just football to him nothing more. I think the injuries are going to start to make him think is this really worth it.:tt02::tt02:

Injury prone???

Didn't you see that guy fall on his leg? That's not a wear and tear injury.

Well if the Steelers are serious and want to at least take a chance at making the playoffs I say if he is ready to go you put him out there. He gives us the best chance to win on the defense.
