It appears Texas A&M is suing the Seabirdies over the "12th Man" motto. A&M is stating they started the motto back in 1922. :dang: :sofunny:

Side note: Wasn't sure if this was supposed to be posted in the "NCAA Football" forum or in the "NFL Football" forum. I apologize to the mods If it is in the wrong section.

I used to live in San Antonio for 3 years in the 80's.

Even people in Texas make fun of Texas A&M for being so stupid

I never lived in Texas so I wouldn't know. But from my understanding, A&M originally started the "12th Man" motto. Am I wrong?

i couldnt even tell you. i think they started a tradition of college kids getting killed by having a bonfire collapse on top of them.

This is dumb... Did they copyright the motto? If so then it's okay, but if they didn't, they've got nothing.

The Aggies stopped the Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears from using their idea.

damn aggies always doing stupid shit.

some aggie jokes:

Some Aggies were trying to scare the Longhorn football team before the game and threw firecrackers into the
locker room windows.
The Longhorns lit them and threw them back!

There were three Aggies huddled around each other at a local bar. All of a sudden, they jumped up and yelled,
"Yeah, 45! 45!" The bartender goes down to them and asks, "45? What are you guys so excited about?"
One of the Aggies speaks up: "We just finished a jigsaw puzzle. The box said 2 to 3 years, and we did it in 45 days!"

What is the difference between an Aggie and a carp?
One is a bottom feeding scum sucker and the other is a fish.

Did you hear about the Aggie terrorist who tried to blow up the Longhorn team bus.
He burned his lip on the tailpipe.

Did you hear about the Aggie that drove his pickup into the lake?
His dog drowned while he tried to get the tailgate down.

How do Aggies practice safe sex?
They get rid of all the animals that kick.

I'm in Texas and I've associated 12th man with A&M. I've had a few friends attend the college so I know they make a big deal out of it.

Did you hear about the aggie that broke his leg while playing golf?
He fell off of the ball washer.

Do you know how you can tell your getting close to Texas A&M while driving down the road?
If you pull over, all of the sheep will back up to the fence.

Are you claiming that the Steelers were the first to wave towels around? When did you guys start that?

I just looked it up and all evidence points to Pittsburgh as the first towel waivers. You guys should trade mark it and then sue the Aggies for this...
