Great holiday gift for all of us!

What a gift it is! I really did not think we had a shot after we got that kick at the 14 yardline. At least next week will still mean something for us!

With a packer fan for a neighbor, this win has a little more spice on it. Especially since he and I are going on a bike ride at 5:30 tomorrow morning.

Don't forget the Denver and Minnesota games and SB XLIII. We give a lot of video for NFL Films highlights.

nothing could or should take away from this record game. nobody has topped his single game yardage this year. if im correct ben also had the top passing yards in his rookie season vs the giants (with like 383), and 3 years later vs the broncos with 400+.

i could be wrong, but still...

5 players with 70+ receiving yards. mendenhall was one of them. wallaces 2 receptions go for td's. hines and heath both top 100.

great game with brilliant offensive output. i would almost expect half of this EVERY week.

With all the weapons we have on offense, it was only a matter of time before we had an offensive explosion like today's performance. We really needed this. :tt02:

See,

THAT, I can understand, since we played one of the best defenses... and an expectation of scoring close to twenty points makes sense.

Thing is, had we scored half of that every week, we still would have lost as many games... with this defense this year.

Big Ben was just overlooked tonight with a few mistake getting rid of the ball, but wow 508 yards with 3 TD's 0 TD's. Wow he carried that whole offense on his back all night and even had to bail out the D!

It will be a merry Christmas after all! Ben is such a great quarterback and should be considered in the top few in the league. We needed him today, and he does what he always does. With the game on the line, he is the best quarterback.

Big Ben is unbelievable that's for sure. An all time great already, we've got a legend here in the Burgh right before our eyes.

:king:

I thought I heard a stat on the NFL network while I was wrapping a gigantic and probably too expensive TV with two rolls of shiny wrapping paper after the game: Besides Ben being 10th all time passing in a game, I'm pretty damn sure I heard a side-stat to go along with that to make it even more impressive. Did they say that Ben is only the THIRD QB to go for 500 with 3TD and NOT ONE interception? I can't find confirmation on this, I've been trying to track those records down, with no luck so far. Anyone know for sure? Is that true? It probably is. As rare as a game like that is, to do it with no INT's is even more impressive.

Go Ben, Go Steelers, and even without playoffs, I'm just relieved that I saw heart, conviction, and hunger out of this team again when I thought they had given up. Way to go guys!

Yeah, they did say that. He just threw out of his mind, no other way of putting it.
