I'm giving my gold game ball to BEN. When the going got really tough, he made it happen. :hatsoff:

Other game balls go to Mike Wallace, Heaaaaaaaath and Bruce Arians. YES - BRUCE ARIANS.

The entire Steelers D gets a huge kick in the hiney. They should be ashamed.

Big Ben definitely.

Ben is the best play maker in the NFL at the QB position.

Romo, you can go **** off punk.

Mike Wallace. That TD catch to open the game then an absolutely great catch for the tying TD.

Heath Miller, he was a beast.

Ben Roethlisberger, he made some GREAT throws and kept plays alive. 503 yards, is that a career high?

A kick in the ass to the defense, especially the secondary who couldn't cover a wet paper bag.

Mike Wallace....although the team as a whole looked their most coherent since Denver (aside from a few O-line & D-back bloopers)....

Ben...without a doubt....but he can cut it into 3 parts to share with Wallace and Heath

Ben had a great game and deserves the credit he's getting. But I'm giving mine to BA. He's had the shit beat out of him all week and deserve a little love. He and Ben and the whole offense seemed to be fighting every body today.

I can agree with that. Mendy should maybe get one too since he bailed us out a time or two and kept the G.B. defense honest.

He does matter, but we still need to be able to play at a high level. C'mon Tone, we lost to the Raiders for cryin' out loud.

Mine goes to Ben and Wallace (can't pick between the two), with honorable mentions to the whole offense. At least half our team came and played with some real heart today and pulled a win out of their asses.

You really do love pushing the buttons, don't you? The D almost blew another game for us today. Ben & Co. (which includes the anti-Christ BA) saved their hineys.

503 is a career high and team record. Also the best passing performance since Drew Brees in 2006. Pretty much ices it for the game ball and NFL Player of the Week.

Ben gets the game ball, no question. Any questions about his leadership and toughness were erased today. Drops 503 yards on the 2nd-ranked defense, 3 TD, and the best part - ZERO INT. Comes through in the clutch...again. Just an unbelievable performance when he absolutely had to have one.

BB and Wallace, Miller but also Mendy for some key catches out of the backfield and tough td run. And I think big Casey Hampton played well.

The entire Steelers D gets big ol' lumps of coal in their Christmas stockings as far as I'm concerned! :banging:

We're not exactly off life support yet, but signs of life are returning. :applaudit:

supa_fly_steeler
12-20-2009, 08:45 PM
it has to be ben because of his yardage and performence, but wallace's 80 yard touchdown run and an endzone catch that won the game is just as worthy because it kept our season alive.

difficult but i go with ben becuase its 500 yards.

Obviously what Ben did was amazing but what about a Undrafted Rookie FA Guard that steps in and starts for Keameuatu? Ramon Foster was pretty impressive, not gonna get a game ball BUT played a hell of alot better than a proven veteran, MAX STARKS!

I don't know about a game ball, but you're right. The only problem he had was getting his helmet stuck to his opponent.

wallace was wonderful, but he only caught two of Big Ben's brilliant passes. 503 passing yards. Franchise record much?

Big Ben is a no brainer. Yes Wallace made the catch but Ben threw the ball and had a once in a lifetime type game. 500 yards for a Steelers QB (enough said).

GoSlash27
12-20-2009, 09:39 PM
Obviously Ben, but I'd like to give props to that kid in the #27 jersey on defense. Joe Burnett.
He was the least-sucky looking guy on the secondary IMO. He made some critical plays when we needed 'em.

Nobody should get the game ball but Ben on this one. Granted, Wallace and the other receivers were exceptional, but Ben threw for 503 yards and 3 TDs with no INTs (there was actually one INT, but it was called back and rightfully so...wouldnt have happened had the defender not plowed over Hines Ward illegally). He threw a touchdown on the first and the last play of the game. Talk about starting and finishing strong. Anyone who says that he's not a top 5 QB had seriously better shut the hell up after this game.

Yebbit he wouldn't have made that pass if it weren't for the onside kick.:jerkit:

Not enough though. They actually spotted the Packers 2 TD's by not calling holding.
