Retkofsky is on the UFL Ny Sentinels roster and free to sign with us if needed. I think maybe they should give Legursky a try this year as he has been working with former Eagle Ls Mike Bartrum.

I was gonna say why not give Legursky a try?

The only thing I heard negative about Rost was that he was easily bowled over by the person lining up in front of him.

that's a shame.. if we had stopped the 2 pt conversion we wouldn't have needed an extra point and he would have never hurt his knee.

Then why didn't someone go kick him the jewels six weeks ago???

:chuckle:

Hey, didn't Tomlin just win his second 4pm game? :wink02:

Definitely. I'll take another one of those seasons. Still though, not many of us felt to good after that game.

That was Silverback.

yeah, he snapped right out of the endzone for the safety, then we did the free kick and the Giants promptly got the lead for the last time. But like Stillers said, the season turned out good.:wink02:

I still like to remind the Giants fans that I work with than we spotted them 2 pts and good field position before they won by 7. lol.

Yeah...we all saw what happened when Silverback had his turn at longsnapping....

He's all hyped up in his normal rage, after flinging 300lb offensive linemen around....gets that little football in his hands, and in something reminiscent of 'The Incredible Hulk':

"Silverback...SNAAAAAAPPPPPP!!!!!"

Punter says "WTF?!?" as he watches it sailing over his head....lol

The poor guy. That's got to be about the worst luck I can imagine.

Actually, scratch that. One time one at a game for one of the high schools we covered, they scored a meaningless touchdown, and on the extra point, there was a bad snap and the holder tried to scramble, and after getting tackled, he collapsed and died. It turned out he had some heart condition that no one knew about, and somehow he got hit exactly the wrong way to set it off.

That sucks i like Warren, i got his autograph (yea the long snappers autograph lol) at a training camp practice in Latrobe, he was the only one willing to sign something for me....tough brake for him, I wish him well.
