I was looking up Shaun Alexander's numbers....In the one game he played us, he had 20 attempts for 48 yds. Not that this means anything now....

So prior to the Panthers game, Alexander had never had a good playoff game. Word around the league was that if you put one hard hit on him, he would lose his edge and not play well the rest of the game. To the point where some people really questioned his toughness and integrity as a player.

Whats the take on that in Pittsburgh?

Their take is... the following:

Cowher: You know what, I don't care, we have the Bus.. He will take you to school. Thank you.

I've always seen Alexander as a decent runningback behind an exceptional offensive line. Maybe it's his style of running thats so relaxed that makes me think that..

Cool! 20 carries means we are ahead in the game and we are running down the clock.

If that game was the 2003 game, the Seahawks won the day. So much for that theory.

20 carries means you are still trying to get your offense going and Hasselback is tired of getting hit so he just keeps handing off to avoid another sack!! KAPOW !!

GO STEELERS !!!

More crap like "home field advantage" or "wanting it more" or "being satisfied with just being in the super bowl." All bull that sounds nice but really has no baring.
