I have been walking around town wearing my Steelers sweatshirts with pride the last few weeks. One think I have noticed is everywhere I go someone has something great to say about the Steelers. People are cheering for them. I like that...

When your in Pittsburgh, no one thinks twice when you wear your colors around town because most people do. Here, they comment on them. Gives you a little ego boost. "Yeah, that's right...my team rules.":bouncy:

Think about it....

Both cities are very similar.."Rust Belt" towns...based on manufacturing (well..Pittsburgh used to be anyway)..they are what? 400 miles apart?...similar populations and definitely Blue Collar towns...

This is sweet..we might as well be playing at home...Ford Field will be rocking in Black and Gold!!

Sure is an awesome feeling. Imagine if Green Bay or one of thier rivals made it this year. Could you imagine walking around there?

I bet it'll be 5-1 Pittsburgh to Seattle fans in Detroit. There is a lot of Pittsburgh natives in Michigan since the steel mills largely moved there. I personaly know a lot of people going up to Detroit, and I live in DC. And I imagine a large number from Pittsburgh will make that drive, of course. :-)

I'll venture to guess that the only states where there'll be more Seattle fans than Pittsburgh is in Washington and Texas (Not really Seattle fans, but Steelers haters).

Dude,at least concede Alaska as a blue and green state! Hawks games are broadcast up there. So that adds about 18 fans to our side.

I definately have to concede that your Steelers have have the advantage of nationwide support. Hell, I was rooting for them until now.

But that doesn't stop me from hoping the Seahawks break everyones hearts next Sunday....:boxing:
