Which is highly likely, it would be nice to spoil another promising season for Baltimore. Again.

That would make a great late Christmas Present.

It's a Steelers/Ravens game, so it will be close to the very end. Maybe even a shootout considering how awful both teams' secondaries have been lately.

Of course, the Steelers may not make the playoffs because the Ravens win.

I'm just sayin'...... :flap:

Yeah, I have a feeling it's going down to 2:00 or less in the 4th before it's decided. It's always a tough contest.

That's a given, Crow. I can't remember the last Steeler game that didn't come down to the wire.

They'd be whackin' and hittin' each other on crutches and out of wheelchairs if they had to.

2 years ago when the Steelers openeda can of whoop-ass on the Ravens on MNF.

35-7 at halftime.

Is that the one when Ward almost decapitated Ed Reed?

Among others. The 75th anniversary game was like one 60 minute highlight reel!

I doubt this one will bear much resemblance :(

Actually I see the Ravens and Steelers both making the playoffs.

Three years ago when we went 13 - 3 and sacked Ben like eight times and won by 30 or so?

Haha! No... It'd be 2 years ago. Nov 4th, '07 when Silverback terrorized you guys with 2 sacks, and 3 forced turnovers with all the Steeler greats in attendance (we'll share Hot Rod Woodson with ya). 38-7 blowout. :tt04:

Markymarc,
As do I. Most of the likely scenarios come down to both of us in the wildcard spots... *If* we beat Baltimore.

The premise is false. If we beat Baltimore, it is not highly likely that we miss the playoffs.

Would be cool to see them both in there and play a third time so the steelers could get 2 out of 3.

I think that was Sweed on Ivy in the AFCCG last year.

yeah it is. It's still highly likely we miss the playoffs if we win out......we dont need any miracle scenarios to happen in order to reach the postseason, except for the Raiders beating the Ravens.

We don't need that miracle to happen either.
If Philly beats Denver (philly's favored by 7), it'd take a miracle (or in some cases a series of miracles) to knock us out so long as we win out.

In that case, there's only 3 ways we get knocked out:
1) Jacksonville beats the Patriots in New England
2) The Jets beat both Indy *and* Cincy.
3) Texans beat both Miami *and* New England.

The miracle we needed was for Oakland to knock off either Denver or Baltimore. That happened last week when they beat Denver.

Knocking off Baltimore as well would move us from #6 to #5.

Now that would be a very cool scenario :tt02: Here's to the Steelers taking care of business tomorrow!
