The second half games aren't over yet but I can safely say that everything is hinging on the Pats beating the Texans next week.
I can't help but think that the Pats would rather have the Texans in the playoffs than Pittsburgh. Let's hope that the Pats don't lay down next week.

not if the colts can't beat the jets - and they just put in a rookie QB who promptly fumbled and let the Jets score a TD

I think the Pats will try to win. Why? Because its in their nature and I think they will try to get the #3 seed - at least to avoid an early matchup with the Colts in Indy. I think they believe that they have a better chance to beat SD than Indy.

Actually EVERYTHING hinges on the Steelers beating the Dolphins next week. Without that NOTHING else matters...

The most important game for the Steelers right now is the Philly- Denver game, which the Iggles are in the proccess of gagging away.

I hope the Colts get knocked out first round, it would be great if the Jets did it.

Well, now it all hinges on the Pats and the Bengals....who ever would have thought that we'd need to root for both of those teams? lol

I agree. When teams rest their starters, they usually lose momentum in the play-off. In 2005, Colts lost to Steelers, the 6th seed team. F. the Colts for playing chicken.
