Hines, actually the Steelers claim to have the largest female fan base in the entire league. And here in Ohio my male Steelers fans outnumbered my female fans only 60% to 40%, when I started the Steelers Fans of Ohio fan club I couldn`t believe the feedback I got from the girls. My wife, Mrs.Clevestinks, has thought of starting a Steelersgirlz fan club.

Tell her to start that up. I know my wife could be a member at large, here in PA for her. She's Steelers all the way, and whats even more funny, before we got married, she liked the browns!!! I converted her of that shiat right quick! She wasnt a big fan, she didnt know anything about football till she met me, she just went on a high school trip a couple years before that, to cleveland for a band competition, and some guy gave her a Browns stadium blanket, so she liked the browns  ... Not any more!!! :D

Blitz I had the same problem, when i moved to Ohio, from Uniontown area, I met my wife and she was a brownies fan. She didn`t know much about football then. Now she is a die hard. But if should wouldn`t have changed, I don`t know if we could have made it. I mean I love her and all, but come on its the Steelers. I =ts more than just being a fan, it alms=ost a lifestyle.

I hear ya cleve... Im the same way, I told missy, there was no way in hell, she was bringin that browns blanket, her t shirt or her couch jersey into our house once we got married. There's just no way. Since she wasnt anything more than a novice fan and didnt know much if anything about them anyways, she just dumped the jersey and tshirt, but wanted to keep the blanket in her car, for emergencies, since it was big and warm, and blah blah blah. I made her a compromise. I said u can keep it in ur trunk, wrapped up in a garbage bag in the corner, and if we are together and the car breaks down and its cold out, I'll freeze to death b/4 I ever use that POS !!
She agreed!

:bouncy: Welcome...I am glad we are getting more girls on here.
And to answer about needing more girl steelers fans just come to the womens training camp you would not believe the amount of women fans. And you are paying to go, so I dont think they are showing up just to show up. Not that the paying part matters I would pay any amount to go. I am glad my brother(clevestinks) and sister in law(mrs. clevestinks) got me going. We were all raised as steelers fans which was wonderful and then mrs. clevestinks joined in but you would never know that she was not born and raised that way. The celebrations we have at the end of games...through tears and beers we have been through it all together. And it gets better every year.....Go STEELERS!!! :bouncy:
