Well, looks like we'll take care of our part, but we're in a BAD situation now. 99% chance the season is over. Good win though, and at least we finished strong and with a winning record. :tt03:

Yeah...from SuperBowl winner to Winning Season.

I almost want the Steelers to go for in on fourth down because I don't think I can handle the Dolphins scoring on the last play to win 31-30.

steelpride12
01-03-2010, 03:08 PM
Pats pulled Brady with :50 seconds left. They did that for the Steelers.

Great - we'll take a 6-point lead with just enough time for our craptastic D to lose it.

This game is a microcosm of the entire season, although Logan finally got into gear.

Going to be some changes coming before the snow melts.

We will make the FG..go up by 6...and give up a Kickoff Return for a TD

That would be a fitting way to end the season.

We should have finished the season 13-3 or at the worst - 12-4. Can't cry over spilled milk, though. It is what it is, but I give BA, Ben and the O a huge KUDOS for their play this season. In all but 2 of our games this season, they did what was asked of them. I need not comment on the D - my feelings are well known.

Am I a teenie bit disappointed? Sure, but I still love 'em and am going to look forward to the draft and the 2010 season. :tt02:

Or we'll lose it on a long TD pass by a 3rd string scrub QB. That would also be fitting.

We have managed a winning season. If we make the playoffs, great....if we don't, OK, we work on next year.

The world won't end either way.

ALL we had to do was beat a BAD Bears team, a HORRIBLE Raiders team. A HORRIBLE Chiefs team and a HORRIBLE Browns team.

As far as all the impossible scenarios, I'll take a look at what happened tomorrow morning....it's no big deal at this point, and if we DO get in and lose THAT'S no big deal either. There's always next year.

Now I have two sincere wishes....early exits for both the Bengals and Pats. I already KNOW the Rats are one and done.

the Browns did end their season with a 4-0 win streak...starting with us...but yeah, there was no way we should have lost to the Bears/Chiefs/Raiders and we should have at least split the Bengals. We could very well be 13-3 right now and a 2nd seed but instead we're 9-7

I bet there will be no more sitting on your helment during practice. Might be Ward's swann song in 2011. Does Farrior have anything left? Will Timmons live up to his #1 pick status? Will Sweed make the roster? Is Deshea done? Will BB learn to simply throw the ball away sometimes? Will FWP return? Will we get a FB? How will Troy and Aaron Smith play in 2011?

Goodbye William Gay & Charlie Batch.

It won't get to common games with Denver and Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh as the head to head. You're thinking of Houston.
