60 Minutes;
Ziggy looks like the real deal;
RushHard is the real deal;
Ligashesky's gone, maybe even tomorrow;
Arians will either be gone, or he'll have rules to follow;
Good or bad, there's clarity with regards to our DBs;
There was no lack of drama this year. Thanks Steelers!

Well...maybe

60 mins - no, they packed it in all year and quit early.

Lig - I don't expect Tomlin to make any changes.

BA - Not going anywhere, Ben likes him.

Yes, Mike Wallace is the real deal

Ziggy came on in the second half.

Reshard is the real deal, but he needs a complimentary back. I wouldn't mind keeping Willie if he's willing to stay. Willie looked good for several weeks, but hardly ever got the ball.

Lig should never have been hired.

This season does not fall at the feet of Arians. Not even close. I hope we keep Bruce around.

DB's have been awful, or maybe they are awful. I'm not sure which.

Woodley has stepped up the last few games and is looking like a new leader in our defense.
Wallace is a great surprise
Mendy is our RB of the future
It is nice have a KO return net us good field position instead of like years past, thanks Logan!

I'm of course grateful for just being able to watch and enjoy another great season of football. It may not have gone the way we all wanted it to, but there's still no better team to be a fan of.

Here's to many more years of great Steelers football to come!:drink:

Ben "The Statue of Liberty" Roethlisberger.
He does need to lose some weight. He is a blubber.

Mike f'n Wallace
Rashard Mendenhall.

I'm really worried about our defense though. We need to draft well for it.

And this time we'll hopefully have a healthy Troy.

Mendy
Mike Wallace
Big Ben's record breaking season.

I agree with Troy, but we NEED a backup for him that can contribute, at any point in any game this can happen again, we need someone at least adequate.

How 'bout this:

I'm grateful I'm a fan of a team where 9-7 is considered a down year and a disappointment; where every year we can reasonably expect to be a contender for the Super Bowl.

I've been a fan for almost 30 years now (the first game I saw on TV was SB XIV), so I lived through some pretty lean years in the 80's. And I'm sure there are fans on this board who followed the Steelers before '72, when we were one of the worst franchises in the league. We didn't always have it this good. Most teams, and most fans, *never* have it this good. The reality is that we're incredibly fortunate as Steelers fans to follow a team as consistently successful as this one.

Here's to a great offseason and contending for another Super Bowl in 2010!

Salute to Steelers Nation,

lillloyd

Things to be thankful for?

How about the growth of Dennis Dixion? He will probably be our number two QB. Not disrespecting Batch or anything like that but Batch has been injured the last two years and he is getting up there in years.

^I agree about DD too. He stepped up when we needed him in that Ravens game. I love Charlie, but Dennis deserves to be #2. Look today when Ben got hurt, Dennis started warming up

Everyone is sleeping on David Johnson (http://news.steelers.com/team/player/105190/)as our best blocking tight end.

Mike Wallace was our best rookie.
IMHO David Johnson was our second best rookie. He just wasn't used enough in the blocking I, offset I formation. The more rep attempts he gets the better a blocker he will be.

He put a hat on Ray Lewis and survived.
