#1 - Special Teams coaches

- There is no need for explanation. I believe our coverage unit is not in the record books for all the wrong reasons. 28 points plus horrible field position on nearly every kick off killed our season. We missed the playoffs by one victory. You should be able to ask your STs unit to get you one win during a season.....or at the very least not cost you wins.

#2 Bruce Arians

- There's been plenty of debate about this guy but you can't argue one thing....we've struggled to score points offensively for 3 years now. If our QB was Niel Odonell I'd be ok with that....but Big Ben is our QB and hes got play makers all around him. There is no excuse for an offense as talented as ours to struggle to score points. 30th in the red zone? Are you kidding?

If the offense performed above expectations maybe you'd have an argument to keep Bruce.... We have too much talent to not be in the playoffs right now. Our offenses inability to score points was a big reason for that.....and we were given the easiest schedule I can remember ever having.

#3 Mack Brown - then I'd sue Texas for a refund for Sweed.

Arians needs to go, special teams coach needs to go, and O line coach needs to go....

1) Arians should be fired... why... our offense has been so inconsitant... We have been horrible scoring inside the red zone against very crummy defenses....

2) Special Teams... one of the main reasons we arent in the playoffs, its embarassing... even though it may have to do with personell

3) O line- i dont know why but something just isnt clicking with this unit... 8 sacks against the browns abysmal defense... end of story... and the zone run blocking sucks... cant stand it... line em up and run em over...

Bruce Arians 3 years as the Steelers OC and our points scored ranking (this includes points scored by defense and special teams)

2007 - 9th (393 pts)
2008 - 21st ( 347 pts)
2009 - 12 (368 pts)

Now think about how good our defense has been the prior two years. Then think about the players we have on offense...Ben, Ward, Miller, Parker, Mendy, Holmes, Wallace.... This team is way too talented to be average like we have been.... I will again mention the fact that we were given a gravy schedule this year ...that 12th ranking is more like our prior season when we ranked 21st. The difference this year is the fact that our defense wasn't dominant and our ST's stunk. We need more from our offense. We've under achieved offensively 4 years in a row. The first year can be attributed to Ben's motorcycle accident, the last 3 years under Arians there really is no excuse. Ben is in his prime NOW.

I love how last year we had one of the best coverage units and the same special teams coach, and this year its still the same coach but we have the worst coverage unit. Is it the coach? or is it the players missing every tackle and trying to make big hits and missing causing big returns? I say we keep him another year, you'll see a much better special teams unit next year.
