It's official. He's in. You can take the question mark off. He should have been there in the first place.

The lolProbowl will always be the lolProbowl, but always nice to see one of our own get some recognition. Way to go Lamaar, give us a taste of what you're going to give us in 2010 :tt:

That would be awesome if Woodley went to the Probowl but I'm still not going to watch it.

i haven't watched the pro bowl since the 80's. even then i rarely watched. the should have a skills contest and get rid of the game.

Awesome, he deserves it and he was our MVP on defense this year for sure in my opinion

Nice, three Steelers in the Pro Bowl... well, isn't Ben still going to have a Pro Bowl selection added to his record, even though he isn't going?

Not bad for a fat man who can't play the run....

He shouldn't. He wasn't voted in and turned the offer down to sub afterwards.

Congrats to LaMarr though. I think this will be his first of many trips to the Pro bowl. Hopefully next time though it will be in Hawaii, and the week after the Super Bowl. In other words where and when it belongs.

this is the question ive been asking for a while

i think if Vince Young goes because Ben and Carson say no, it should be on his record :coffee:

It is well deserved for Woodley even though I think he should have made it without being an alternate.

Its an age old saying that is so appropriate in so many walks of life

" Its better late than never"

Have fun at the party and stay healthy Wood

Exactly...Here is what I wish they would do instead. Get rid of the game. Have all players who were voted in as "pro-bowlers" show up for a Fan-Fair. They still get their money for showing up, and they are reguired to participate in fan-interactive events. Autographs...photo-ops with fans...skill competitions...throw some balls to the kids...etc.

I would actually pay money for that type of event...as opposed to paying money for a game that everyone (who shows up) runs at 3/4 speed.

Good thing it's not in Hawaii...otherwise Lamar might put on 10 pounds eating there :chuckle:

I know it's not here this year...but. You dont think the players want to win a trip to hawaii? I have gone the pass three years and it is quite fun to be there, always sold out, good food, fun game to watch. Besides us in the 808 state dont have any pro teams.

Why are people so against the pro bowl? its an all-star game, everyone is always for Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and even college All-star games, but why not football? Other sports have fan voting in the games too :P

And they do have a "skills contest" and other random activities pro bowl players do during the pro bowl week. Including strength, speed, agility, catching, routh running, passing, obsticle courses, and a bunch of stuff, typically its on ESPN and NFL network at random times during the week.
