Called it at the beginning of this season and I'm still sticking with it - the 'Skins.

Old quarterback out of his prime but wants to win a superbowl + Shanahan = Superbowl team?? ... History does repeat itself

if he does play he will be a viking. he may wanna shitcan that fumbling running back though. if peterson were a steeler he would be declared a bust and ran out of town.

I'd like to see them shitcan that gutless coach who decided to play for a 50 sum yard field goal, then sends 12 guys into the huddle...

Childress is nothing but a slimmer stupidier version of Andy Reid.

Well, we KNOW that, but he'll also unretire in August (again). :chuckle:

Looking at the final interception, if he had run it, he probably gets to about the 32 yard line. So he should have run it yes. But the fact still remains that if his moronic coach doesn't send 12 men into the huddle the play before then maybe Brett doesn't feel compelled to make a play that he shouldn't have?

BTW I could see Ben doing the same thing.

Sadly, I had thought this too.

I say he stays in the Purple.

I disagree. Ben isn't afraid to run it. just look what happened at the end of the KC game this year. and there are many more instances where he takes off.

Ben has matured, but he has done the whole throw the ball into the middle of the field across his body into a defenders arm thing before... who do you think he got so many interceptions in 2006?

what if he does the unimaginable...

he comes back during the playoffs in 2011 with the sixth seeded team who miraculously got there with there defense???

washingtons jason campbell is actually a good quarterback, it isn't his fault he has had 8 offensive co-ords in that many years.

feel sorry for the dude, again whole new gameplan next year, dan snyders a retard

I think he'll stay with the Vikes only because they have the young talent to carry him towards another NFCCG next year.

The Vikings are set to win for the next several years. Thats why he went there in the first place.

Exactly right, and my guess is they "excuse" him from OTAs and don't even expect him in Training Camp. as long as he shows up a week before the season, gets his 1 practice pre-season game in and is ready to roll, the Vikings will be right in the mix again next season.

He should retire already. Join a touch football league and sling it for 75 TD's a game.

I really admired how he just wrapped up that ankle and went right back out there yesterday. You could tell he was in pain for the rest of the game. But I really think he just ride off into the sunset on his tractor this time. He played a hell of a game, but you could tell he had about as much as his body could handle with the post season games. No way can he make it through a training camp, regular season and then post season.

As far as I know, he signed a two-year contract, so if he's playing next year it'll be with the Vikings. I don't think Minnesota would just let him walk to try another team because they don't have shit at the QB position. And where else is he gonna go to get a better shot at a title?

More likely he comes back, and then in about Week 5 he finally tears that shoulder that's been hanging by the cords for the past two seasons.

I think we will see Favre back next year in a vikings uniform. This could arguably be one of the best years of his career, so i think a year later he could come back and still have a good year and give the vikings a chance to be competitive.

If Brett comes back he makes 500 TDs and 70,000 yards.
