During the 70's I was fortunate enough to go to about 4 or 5 games a year at Three Rivers Stadium as my mother (who as a RN) knew several doctors who gave her the tickets. They just were not any old tickets - they were about 5 rows up on the 30 - 40 yard line. It was such a thrill when I went to a game for the first time. Wow - that was exciting ! I have such great memories of that time !
During Super Bowl X, I decided to go up to my uncle's house to watch the game with him and my cousin. It was so much fun - my uncle was such a big, big fan. That was January. In December of that year we said goodbye to him as he passed away from lung cancer.
