Steeler support by local Business

I thought it would be cool for folks to post here showing which local business's you have noticed going all out to show support for the Steelers, and to talk trash on the crappy business's that are not. If we are true Steelers fans we should use the ones that do show support and blast to hell the ones that dont.

I started this since out doing errands the other day and noticed that everywhere I went employees, if not the business itself, was going all out with signs, terrible towels, shirts, etc showing their support of the Steelers. That was until my last stop, Fedexkinkos. No signs, employees not in shirts, nada. I asked and had one employee state that they are not 'allowed' to post signs or be out of uniform! This is the SUPERBOWL and the STEELERS are in it!! Then the guy proceeds to tell me how he could care less since he is NOT a Steeler fan and hopes they lose and its not like it matters since they will be open till 9pm like always on SuperBowl Sun.

I find this just poor thinking and community support on the part of Fedex. They shut down for every stupid holiday in the world and won't ship my packages, but they will stay open on what in this area is gonna be BIGGER than most holidays so some schmuck can do some copies or ship a package. Well STFU to fedex. I went to UPS, which btw had signs up, employees all in Steeler gear, AND a sign saying they will be closing early for the SuperBowl. Now THAT is what I"m talking about!.

Let Fedex know how we as the Steeler Nation feel. Email em, call their stores, refuse to give them business. If they can't show support for our Steelers, if they can't close a lousy 3 hours early, then they won't ever see my money again.

Must be nice to see everybody in support of the Steelers! The businesses around where I live always wear burnt orange, no matter what. I'd love to see one of them all decked out in Black and Gold!

I drive a school bus out here near Philly. On the front of my bus I put a 14" diameter magnetic Steeler logo. I also have window clings on various windows.

I've had quite a few people honk horns at me and wave. Also I've had people row down their wondows and shout their support for the Steelers.

My bos is an Eagles fan but hasn't complained about my Steeler stuff.

I'm a nurse in a small rehab/long term care facility. We are decked out! My unit is totally black and gold-from the ceiling, windows, walls, everywhere. We've had black and gold dress down week, and just about the entire staff (and some patients) have had their colors on every day. It's been great to see.

Oh, and our local Giant Eagle is closing early on Sunday at 5pm, which is very cool.

Yeah, even here in the middle of Browns Country, Giant Eagle has represented very well. They even had the AFC Championship hats out like 2 days after the game.

Why the smartypants at FedexKinko's acted the way he did, I have no idea, but FedExGround is based in suburban Pittsburgh.

In my office, we have been allowed to wear something with Steelers on it in the playoffs, only on Friday before the game, but no "dressdown" with jeans or sneakers. Tomorrow, I?ll wear my Roethlisberger replica jersey, just as I have every Friday in the playoffs. After we win on Sunday, I?ll wear my Steeler tie for the first time in ages (we don't have to wear ties anymore).

Some employers simply will not permit variations in dress code, and that has nothing to do with how the employees feel about it.
