View Full Version : Could L.A. have a team?

Well, what do you think?

I think they should have a team. But I wonder, if they add L.A., would they pick one other city to also have a team ? If so, where ???

The LA Jags.

LA doesn't support the NFL though. Rams? Raiders?

How many teams need to fail there before anyone sees its not going to work. I could see the Jags going there.

Please, take the Raiders just to get them out of here. I am so sick of having ONLY the Raiders and 49ers games available on Sundays due to the NFL's idiot black-out-the-game-opposite-the-home-team TV policy, not to mention they've all but driven the A's out of Oakland by ruining the stadium to build Mount Davis. Maybe if they take their sorry excuse for a football team and GTFO, at least we'll be able to keep one halfway decent franchise in town.

There is always talk of the Raiders going back to L.A. Some think it's inevitable, but I don't think so. The Raiders' extended their lease with Alameda Coliseum through 2013. If a team is going to L.A., it will be there before then.

Los Angeles Jaguars......

hmm, maybe it'll have a good ring to it after a while...

LA wants a team, they are building the stadium as we speak.
From what I read over the past year, NFL will only have another expansion team if we go to a 17 or 18 game season with less preseason games. But if that doesn't happen, LA wants a team currently in the NFL. I know the teams they mentioned, Jaguars, Bills, Vikings, Rams, Chargers, 49ers and Raiders, But they are specifically interested in the Jaguars and Bills more than anything because Jags have a very little Fan base in Florida and I forgot why they wanted the Bills there.

But it seems that the Rams and Vikings are closer to moving.. I'm surprised to see the Vikings wanting to move, what would that do to the NFC north.

The Viks moving? I don't see that happening. The guy who wants to buy the Rams said the team will stay in St. Louis.

LA has had it's chances before with a team and it didn't work. Time to give another city a chance.

Would love to get an NFL team in Sacramento. The fans here are great with the Kings and the Wildcats and would fully support a football team. Plus, I'd finally get to go to some games.

I don't see the Vikings moving to La either but stranger things have happened. They have the fan base and a strong turn out to their games on Sunday why would you move somewhere else.

Would be the Saints if it were not for Katrina.

Also, they should let the names in the city. Just like the Browns did.

Jaguars are a prime candidate to be moved. Even when they're making the playoffs, nobody around there is watching.
