I know the Steelers don't ever deal with free agency, but what about the CB from the Texans Dunta Robinson?
He reminds me of Clark, but at the CB position. Not an INT kind of guy but loves the big hits and was up there in tackles. Just a thought?

A good player, but inevitably out of our price range.

Last years holdout won't endear him to many clubs either.

I've heard he was the guy Cowher wanted to draft at 11 instead of Ben.

I just saw on ESPN that he is gonna command the big payday. No thanks.

Robinson would be an excellent pick up.....I would say yes if we could get a deal taht would be cap friendly. He would be a automatic upgrade over Gay.

Nah, that was Phyllis Rivers. I like Robinson, but gonna be too expensive.

Robinson also seems to have a big ego. He held out into the regular season because he was unhappy about being tagged instead of just man-ing up and playing.

I think Dan Rooney was quoted as saying after the drafted Ben that Cowher wanted to draft an offensive lineman but Dan Rooney stepped in and made the call on Big Ben.

Too expensive. Were do you see him ranked on the list of current CB's in the league?

Good thing he didn't. I hear the guy can hit but he sure can't throw!:sofunny:

And we already have one guy in our secondary that cant make INT's in Ike Taylor. I like Taylor but but he cant catch the football and the Steelers dont need 2 starting corner with No Hands. The Steelers in my opinion will end up staying pat on their corners unless some of the Great Corners fall to them at 18 I dont see them taking one in the early rounds especially after they used 2 picks early last year.. but hopefuly I am wrong.

Joe Haden will be long gone, but if we do go for a CB, i dont think Kyle Wilson will be a reach at all....

I wouldn't complain. IMO CB is our most pressing need.

Imo i think Kyle Wilson will be the best Cornerback of the class by the time careers end.

at least we have up and comers that could do wonders for us in the near future. At safety we have, well let's review...

In a scenario which we lose Tyrone Carter, Deshea Townshend, and Ryan Clark to free agency, our lineup excluding the draft will consist of...

Strong Safety: Troy Polamalu
Free Safety: Ryan Mundy

WTF

i say safety if possible lol
