I think the Steelers need to bring someone back that has swagger and intensity. Foote was the other guy that could do that and he was not there last year..and it showed..our defense appeared to give up. The Steelers D needs vocal leader-obviously Troy is not one-Harrison is intense, but not vocal.

I don't think it's likely, but then again, the way this offseason's been going, it wouldn't surprise me anymore. Not really sure what role he'd fill, though. I love the guy, but we've already got two badasses playing OLB, and even if one of them gets hurt, Timmons is probably better as an OLB than an ILB anyway.

He has said he would like to retire a Steeler, but chances are slim.

Even if it is not Peezy, I think we need a vocal leader. As I said, Harrison is intense, but he is not vocal. He is a silent killer. I think we need a trash talker to help get the defense going if they start to get out of focus. If not Peezy, then maybe Foote..even if we just sign Peezy as a pass rush specialist-not sure if he could handle all of the responsibilities.l
I think if we get someone like him, we can definitely go to the Super Bowl this year..our offense will be set even if Chuck Batch is at the helm.

Those odds are even worse than getting Foote back.

Harrison, Woodley and Timmons are all better Linebackers than Porter now. We have no need for him. Bringing back Foote makes less sense. I'm not sure who is slower Farrior or Foote.

please no  porter brought no swagger or intensity. he only brought a loud mouth that he couldn't back up on the field.

foote not being there last had nothing to do with the bad season. notice the lions don't even want him anymore?

lebeau played a non-aggressive defense last year because polamalu went down. if the team's entire defense relies on polamalu then they need to make some adjustments in defensive personel.

of course this is just my opinion

Agreed I don't think we need him either. Hopefully we will get Farriors replacement in the draft. Farriors play fell off last year and we need someone to fill his shoes.
