My newest mock draft is on going to be 3 rounds cuz it does get a little crazy after that. But these some choices that I think we might have a chance at.

Round 1
OT Bryan Bulaga 6'5 314 lbs Iowa
This guy is a perfect fit for what the Steelers need. He is a man that loves to be physical and can be Ben's main man for years to come

Round 2
LB Eric Norwood 6'1 245 lbs South Carolina
I have heard alot of comparisions to James Harrison and that cant be all bad. The guy has a nice mean streak and he plays mad.

Round 3
RB Dexter McCluster 5'9 172 lbs Ole Miss
This guy is a very nice scat back that can return kicks and would be a great 3rd down back if he shows he can pick up the blitzes.

I know 3rd round could be a little early for a RB but if this guy is here he would be a great pickup. Even if the Steelers resign Willie Parker I think its very important we get a special player at a very important position on our team.
Not sure if Bulaga makes it to us at 18 but if he does it would be a great opportunity to get a great OT in the 1st round.

I also think that TE Dennis Pitta from BYU would be a great pick for the Steelers. The guy seems to catch Everything in his reach. He reminds me so much of Dallas Clark it isnt funny. I think he will be a star TE for years to come. And at 6'5 245 lbs he has great size.

I hope that does not happen because it does not address the most needy positions, ILB, DB, & DL. We can't expect to get better if we don't address those positions

i like the first two picks.

the third isn't a need though. the steelers already have a 3rd down back(moore) and a KR(logan).

We have the most sacked QB in the league for the past 3 seasons now. Upgrading the Oline will make the defense better by keeping them off the field. Go back to 2008 when we played the Chargers in the playoffs, they had the ball for 17 seconds in the 3rd quarter and that was with Parker running the ball.

That was a darn good game I will not forget that one.:tt02:

Yeah but we don't need a RB and should wait till after addressing all our needs before drafting a backup OLB. Besides less time of possession will not make an aging Farrior, an aging DL with an often injured Aaron Smith, nor William Gay or any of our bavkup safetys any better. Defense wins championships

Rd 1 Maurkice Pouncey he covers 3 spots both Guards and Center our weakest spot. Or Rd 1 Jared Odrick he can rotate and keep Smith and Kiesel Fresh with Ziggy Hood. Rd 2 if ol in 1 then we need DL, CB or Toby G. Rd2 if dl in 1 then take Jared Veldheer OT, Toby G or CB. Rd 3 Rb or LB.

No way Bulaga falls that far... absolutely no way. If we want Bulaga that bad we would need to trade with Jacksonville at #10.
