It was every businessperson's nightmare.

Arriving at Harv's Metro Car Wash in midtown Wednesday afternoon were two dark-suited IRS agents demanding payment of delinquent taxes. "They were deadly serious, very aggressive, very condescending," says Harv's owner, Aaron Zeff.

The really odd part of this: The letter that was hand-delivered to Zeff's on-site manager showed the amount of money owed to the feds was ... 4 cents.

Of course with penalties and interest the amount is $202.35.

or, if you waited all year and spent it on weed, you could buy a 1-sack.

It's bad enough when you get Nickel and Dimed by the government...now they're resorting to this. Sad...very very sad.

The electric company in New Orleans sent someone a letter once because they underpaid the electric bill by 4 cents. Then they sent a second letter threatening to disconnect his service. So two stamps, envelopes, employee time, etc...they spent a little over a dollar to collect 4 cents. The guy's friend wrote an article about it in one of the underground magazines.

Shockingly, that company later needed a $200 million bailout from the taxpayers.

Yet Tim 'Turbo Tax' Geitner who has 'misrepresented ' his own tax returns gets a free pass. How about that Charlie Rangel, Chairman of the House Means and Ways committee?
