Yeah, his stock is back up to the top of the draft. Conversely, Brandon Spikes supposedly ran something like a 5.02- 40 and should slide to mid 2nd round or later.

I had a feeling Spikes was going to run a poor 40. He looked really slow a lot of times this year on the field, and with him opting to not run at the Combine, I thought he might be in some trouble. If he ran a 40 slower than a 5.00, he's in some trouble. Teams will still like his play-making ability, but there's no way he gets first round consideration now. Look for Daryl Washington to jump him on the ILB boards.

The Gators participating in today's pro day have already completed their jumps and bench press. They are presently running the 40 and the early indications are not good for Brandon Spikes. Few stop watches had Spikes 40 time under 5.0 seconds, with most reading between 5.02-to-5.08.

If any one was wondering.....

A lot of coaches are here too. New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin is standing in the 40. Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is also here.

Looks like my concerns were unfounded....ideally i would like us to go CB,OL,ILB DL, no more 3rd or 4th round CB's we haven't been doing to well with those picks lately. I know the talk is Lewis and Burnett haven't been given a chance, but with the way Gay was playing last year and i was so tired of seeing the back of Tyrone Carters jersey, one of them had and opportunity to step in and show something, but didn't...so it's time to bring in some comp for both of them...Urbick and Hills too....

Well, it was fun while it lasted.

I guess I can forego the thought of Haden in the Steelers #1 draft jersey. damn.

Here we go, Wilson. Here we go! :tt03:

LOL...i guess we're going to have to settle w/ Wilson...which I wouldn't mind @ all....but I wonder if Thomas and a good OL are available, would they still go w/ a CB....I kind of have my doubts....I think they go Thomas if he's there

Scouts later said that Haden's 4.45 40 was more like 4.52. That could be scouts trying to get him to fall.

They were making "adjustments" to the times due a a bad track.....so todays times were something of a rubber ruler.
