I would have trouble drafting Williams after he quit his team, I know he was good when he played but that just would scare me away from drafting him.

First sir, I doubt AZ would want Holmes. They have enough WR's and Holmes might be a bigger re-signing headache than their last WR Headcase. I also don't like Robinson. He gets beat alot. Is not Physical and has MAJOR Character Issues. Both Gerhart and Cam as stated will not make it down that far. And I don't like either of them anyways. And as stated, Williams quit on his team, and is also a primadonna.

But hey...Whatdoiknow

Ok...now i didnt read each and every pick on this...i look at the Steelers picks and a few of the players who went after those picks...and here are my thoughts.

If we cannot get a CB like Wilson in the first...I'd rather not waste a 2nd or 3rd on one (as we picked one in the 3rd and 5th last yr). I do not like Graham as the first pick..yes Harrison is older...BUT he does NOT have the wear and tear on his body like Farrior does...Harrison has only been starting the last like 4 or so years...the rest was special teams (same situation that Keisel is in). Anyways I'll go down the picks and give my thoughts.

1st Graham - No as i mentioned above ( Still on the board: Wilson, Williams and Weatherspoon)
1st Pouncey - Dont want to trade Holmes so i dont see this happening
2nd Ghee - I wouldnt be angry with this pick...but still (see above) (Still on the board: Sean Lee - though i dont think he goes that high, Nate Allen and Eric Norwood - same here, dont think he goes that high)
3rd C. Thomas - I like this...i would like to pick up an NT in the first 3-4 rounds
4th Tate - I know we need an RB...but this is too early i think. (Still on the board: Pat Angerer, Geathers, CJ Wilson)
5th Kam C. and C Peters - Not problem with Kam...but Peters...I dont know about him really...never heard of him...but I dont like him as a DE for us...yes Ziggy is shorter and heavier than our regular DEs...but if we're gonna get one I want a bigger guy 6'6" 280 or whatever ya know. (Still on the board: Blount - not high on him but still, rather use a later pick like this on an RB)
6th who? (Still on the board: S Coleman, CB Warren)
7th Who/Who? If we got an FB why not John Connor?

just saying ...this is Holmes last year with 4 strikes..steelers could up and not resign him next year ..dont want to losse him but if we are why not trade this year and get something. can get a high 1st for him. on the picks just one mock. can pick 18 Iupati then 26 Wilson..thats if we do trade..need another CB starter R1-2 or backup R3-4
Corey Peters 4 year starter at Kentucky. AP All-SEC second team. High character and motor. Very agile, explosive and quick. Good against the run. Disruptive - 12 TFL and 4 sacks in '09. Questionable size and strength for DT. He's dealing with a minor shoulder injury and won't lift at the combine.

your 6'6"...Linval Joseph* DT East Carolina 6' 6" 322 late 3rd - 4th
Clifton Geathers* DE South Carolina 6' 8" 2 round 4-5
connor is picked early 7th..we miss out..

Clay Harbor Reliable receiver who hangs onto the ball. plays with nasty streak, blocks with aggression and doesnt give up. hes a hybird moving TE/FB. has the ability to get open in zones and stretch the field..
40time 4.75 old-school style and hard-charging short-yardage runs.

Nice job all in all. That's a ton of work. Not sure if this was lost in the edits or whatnot but at the moment you have Cam Thomas in there twice.

Personally I'd rather have Holmes than Pouncey any day of the week. Trading him away puts a huge hole in the offense. It would leave us with Wallace, Sweed and a bunch of old guys.

Clay Harbor isn't a FB. He's a TE/H-back. He had a good combine and pro day so I don't think he'll be there in the 7th. I'd also rather have a true FB.

Clay Harbor isn't a FB. He's a TE/H-back. He had a good combine and pro day so I don't think he'll be there in the 7th. I'd also rather have a true FB.

said he was a hybirb TE/FB..like Sean Mchugh. and Stealreal TERMINATED
the true fb in the draft..john connor

You wrote that while I was replying. I'm not saying that Harbor isn't good. Quite the contrary. He's local to me and I think that he's gonna surprise people.

Santonio said he wants a 'big' market and doesn't believe steelers will give him what he's worth.

Would u trade Holmes to the Raiders and swap 1's? We could land Berry ,or Buluga

Just to swap positions I would say NO. I would rather have the Raiders second round pick and try and get Golden Tate.

No way the Steelers select LB there at that spot with the players remaining on the board, I like him but dont see it happening. And the Steelers would be crazy to trade Holmes at this point. He is a proven player and no garentee in the upcoming draft in WR's .

holmes will be gone regardless after this season. we will never pay him what he wants so were better off trading him and getting something in return

I wouldn't deal Holmes right now, no way. We have leverage over him. We can franchise him after the season IF no agreement can be reached. And besides, with a healthy roster, we will once again be right there in the thick of things. And we will need Holmes badly. I mean IF we get a great offer for Holmes, then maybe yes.
But not for just a 2nd rounder, no way.

There are some guys in there that I really like and could really get behind in black and gold uni's.... But if we wait 'till the 5th round to get some secondary help I'm going to need a new tv come Sat night cause my beer is going straight through my current one.

Change out Spikes and draft either Dominique Franks or Brandon Ghee and I'd give it a solid B+.

Love the O-line in the first... could really set us up for turning around our run game. Thomas, Cooper, and Fletcher could be real finds later on in the year and especially in 2011.

i like it except the 2 DE's and as was pointed out taking a cb so late ... there simply isn't room on the roster to add more dline players ...remember they added 2 last year ? .... you might wanna consider working an OT into the lineup to compete with hills .:noidea:

well we did loose 2 De's this year...but since last post we resigned Easton for 1year...so we only need one DE this year..and on late CB..i was drafting for roster..and think lewis or even Burnett steps up this year..Farrior might hang it up after this year..and dont see foot as a replacement. but could go CB,lb in 2
