Pffft the Steelers moral police won't allow it. We'll be lucky if Big Ben isn't traded by week's end. ;)

People, it's not the end of the world. The steelers wouldn't release a dumbass to pickup an idiot

Not Steelers way of doing things. Hey, why don't we get Marshall and TO on the team? Oh, I forgot. We are not the Cowboys.

it will never happen. we will never give up a 1st for him plus we dont want another troubled wr

With the problems he's had with coaches in Denver, plus his bad attitude....yeah no thanks.

Not to mention it's gonna take a first rounder to get him and the Steelers aren't giving that up for Marshall.

STOP PANICKING! THE SKY IS NOT FALLING! WE STILL HAVE A PRETTY GOOD RECEIVING CORP ON THIS TEAM.

Zero Chances

I think it is pretty bold to say there is ZERO chance, because there is actually a chance.

Will they do it? Doubt it, but i have heard that denver may be lowering the asking price here soon. ( just something a friend told me have no clue how accurate that is but i would say he saw it somewhere)

I understand the steelers way and everything and how this guy is a complete headcase, but I would probably be about the only one that could live with this happening (if it were to happen). I dont like the fact hes a complete idiot because DANG hes a good WR.

Since it probably wont happen none of us has to worry about it anyway but thats my view on the subject.

Marshall is just as much of a headcase as Santo was if not a bigger one. Plus he's going to want even more money than Holmes.

With Holmes gone and Brandon Marshal wanting a new home what are the chances of Steelers picking him upyou are aware that he is a bigger dipshit who wants bigger dipshit money than holmes, right?

the minute he doesnt get 100+ receptions and $10 mil/ season he is going to cry.

if he were drafted by the steelers he woulda revolted 2 years ago.

no thanks = NEVER.

Basically what I am saying is if Brandon Marshall became a Steeler....you wouldnt see me complaining.

However if he does not Im fine with that too.

I'd take Marshall in a heartbeat. And all these know-it-all's that say they dont want him will act like they were all for it when he has 1800 yards and 20 td's here.

Thats not the point.....the whole purpose of trading Holmes' was to clear up the Steelers image over the past few months. Marshall is one of the most talented WRs in the league, but bringing him in will bring us right back to where we were with Holmes.

Plus he'd be tough to re-sign and would probably hold out beacuse he'd want a new deal in training camp and that would be a huge dilemma and distraction and thats the last thing this team needs right now is another distraction.

You missed the point. The steelers FO is interested in Winning...PERIOD. Not PR.
They knew long before last night that they were letting Mr. 420 go. They just didn't realize that he was only worth a little more than the bag of dope he was smoking.

And with BM we would win and win and win. And everyone in this overly critical country would soon forget all about the Steelers issues.

-ysgi

PS. what EXACTLY did Ben do wrong ???? He hit on a chick? I guess I need cuffs on me too.

Who really gives a **** about our image? Isn't the ****ing point to win? You win with talent, you don't win because you have a nice image. It's so ridiculous these players are getting crucified for speaking their mind or smoking weed. Unreal with these stupid ****ing rules.

Yinzers think they have a vested interest in the team. They think they know more than the front office. Just listen to anyone after a loss. They know EXACTLY what we SHOULD have done. - RIGHT!!!!

They feel that these minor issues hurt their 'family' or something.

They need to be a little realistic and trust that WINNING is our ONLY goal.

We replace a troubled wide receiver (Plexiglass) with another troubled wide receiver (Santonio) with another troubled wide receiver??? (Marshall)

Maybe if this organization never learned from it's mistakes.

Thank god it does.

Sorry - the POPE quit playing ball years ago.

The steelers seldom draft or pick up free agents that have a history of off field issues. Occasionally they seem to let one time offenders pass and get their chance, but how often do you see one of the top divas that will likely demand money that dwarfs what Santo "might" want walk into Pittsburgh and get just that?

I doubt the old man will pull the trigger on BM, but I certainly wouldnt mind it.

My points were if we had him, we would all love him and forget about Santonio Who ??
And that there arent too many other options out there - and who DOESN'T have at least some sort of history (cept LT - but he's a running back)

LET'S NOT FORGET (FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW) HE DOES HAVE TIES TO PGH. HE WAS BORN HERE AND LATER MOVED TO GA THEN FL. I THINK HE WOULD DO WELL FOR HIS HOMETOWN TEAM. I AM SURE HE KNOWS ABOUT THE STEELER TRADITION. WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO PLAY FOR THEIR HOMETOWN FOOTBALL TEAM WITH A GREAT TRADITION!!! :tt04::tt02::tt03:

about as much of a chance as there is with the Steelers going after TO...then again, T.O. never had any real trouble off the field, he's just poison in the locker room.

steelers wont even consider marshell unless the asking price was a 4th or higher. they build thru the draft and will continue to do that

He would look great in the Steeler uni. He be that "big man" Ben wants.
To go along with Heath, Hines, Wallace and ARE. WOW!!!
Never know though.

The chances the Steelers sign Brandon Marshall are 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000%

High profile? Who said anything about that? I meant when was the last time the Steelers signed a selfish, stupid, retarded locker-room poison headcase piece of human garbage?

Brandon Marshall makes Santonio Holmes look like Barry Sanders.
