Wait why do we have (2) 2nd rounders?

Anyhow love the Pouncey pick. Should be an immediate starter.

How about make a new simple mock w/o trades...just straight up with the all the picks we have now and all. And give us something reasonable to look at instead of all this trade crap.

With 4 round 5 picks, It's almost unreasonable to think that we won't try and package a couple to move up in the draft.

we have 11 picks and dont see no more then 5 maybe 6 making team. as does the FO..so they will trade up a few times to get players they see fit.
and the 2 round 2's in 1st.. we traded down in mock 1

Good effort, but I don't see us getting a number 2 to drop from 18 to 24. I think a 3rd is more likely.

i would trade the 4th, 2 5ths ,the 6th, and 7th, for a 3rd...

I think the steelers should trade down four times from 18, 7 times from round 2, 14 times from round 3 & 4. Basically pick up 47, 7th round picks :-) That way they can choose a TON of players, and yet pay them what your basic " Burger King " worker gets.

Congrats Rooney...the CHEAPEST NFL Owner in History!!

Love the trades.

I like #1 better - I'd be tempted to get McCourty at the end of the first and take Tennant or a different guard in the second.

i think we stick where we are a do what we do best. draft talented players. unfortunately some of the past 1st round recievers have had major character issues. i think we stay where we are and start to rebuild early. DL, OL, WR, CB, MLB are all needs. and you never know what the steelers are gonna pull out there ass. Every year we guess wrong. lol

I never said they wont trade anything. I'm just saying for the purpose of a decent mock draft just keep things simple.

no trade's i would like something like this..

Rd 1, Pick 18 Kyle Wilson CB Boise State 5' 10" 190 ..All-out playmaker
want Iupati or Pouncey but looks like Iupati goes to Bills and Pouncey to giants

Rd 2, Pick 52 Morgan Burnett S Georgia Tech 6' 1" 210
Terrific ball hawk with a good combo of size and speed. Can play both safety positions. Very good instincts and a reliable tackler

Rd 3, Pick 82 J.D. Walton OC Baylor 6' 3" 305
Hard worker, stays low in his stance, moves his feet well, gives good help on double teams, consistent from the shotgun, good in the run game and in pass protection. Footwork needs improvement in the second level

Rd 4, Pick 116 Linval Joseph DT East Carolina 6' 6" 322
Huge frame, typical DT in a 3-4 system, clogs the middle, good wrap up tackler, strong push off the snap, great upper body power, gets his hands up to knock down passes, good footwork for his size

Rd 5, Pick 151 Corey Peters DT Kentucky 6' 3" 292 .....DE ( yes back2back DL)
4 year starter at Kentucky. AP All-SEC second team. High character and motor. Very agile, explosive and quick. Good against the run. Disruptive

Rd 5, pick 155 (jets) Riley Cooper WR Florida 6' 3" 215
Great combination of speed and size. Strong, physical and tough. Great blocker and route runner

Rd 5, Pick 164 Brandon Lang DE Troy 6' 5" 240 ...LB
A natural pass rusher with a feel for lanes, good hand technique and high football IQ.

Rd 5, Pick 166 Deji Karim RB Southern Illinois 5' 11" 205 ..Hard runner..return man
Plays bigger than listed, has good bulk for his height, broad shoulders, protects the ball well, quick feet that keep moving, can hide behind his lineman to find holes

Rd 6, Pick 188 Nate Byham TE Pittsburgh 6' 3" 255
A solid backup that will help move the chains and get ground game going.

Rd 7, Pick 225 Clay Harbor FB Missouri State 6' 3" 240 ..HYBRID FB / TE
A positional blocker, and matchup problem for safeties and LB's. Ability to get open and strech the zones . will keep tthe Tank fresh *( another Sean Mchugh )

Rd 7, Pick 242 Josh Hull ILB Penn State 6'3" 236
A tough, disciplined middle linebacker who does a good job finding the ball inside, Hull takes prosper angles toward the ball carrier. He's a physical wrap-up tackler who's at his best in tight areas but consistently is able to get his man to the ground. He knows how to fill run lanes inside and is quick to diagnose his run/pass keys.
**Hull struggles to consistently keep himself clean when making his way down the line. teachable

lol last pick has biggest reason...:noidea:

Ok...like the first pick. I dont mind the 2nd...but if we go DB first I dont want to go DB 2nd too but thats just me. If no Pouncey, I'm happy with Walton. Linval i like...but i wouldnt go DL with the next pick though. I'd go LB or RB with where you picked Peters. Rather have some of the other RBs in the draft. And if we draft a FB...i want an actual FB no hybrid crap...as we already have TWO of those on the roster (McHugh and Johnson)! But overall not to shabby.
