If the Steelers get off to a good start when Ben comes back what happens? If the team is playing good football to risk bringing Ben back, if not how does Ben handle being a back-up. Its going to be interesting

You don't pay a guy $102M to sit on the bench.

I don't think Mike Tomlin wants to sit BR even if DD or BL have a good performance, BB is the franchise QB and I expect him to be the starter in the 5th game against the Browns ( If the suspension goes for "only" 4 games )

Ben is our QB, I rather miss the playoffs with him. But he better be starting when he comes back.

If dixon does that well, than we have good trade bait for some fresh picks

This got lost in the 6 game suspension thread, but I kind of addressed the paradoxical issue in that thread when I said the following:

Here's maybe ONE positive thing about the suspension:

Ben will (presumably) be VERY healthy mid-season and who knows, the fact that he'll be coming into game5 or 7 100% fresh could be quite a boon for the team - of course, there are complications to this theory.

For one, this could only be a boon if the team was in a winning or .500 situation - a record Ben could realistically build off of upon his return. But, paradoxically, if the team is like 6-0, then there might be a situation where the fans or the team might prefer to keep Dixon or Leftwich (or whomever is covering the QB) in the position. This would be really strange and I doubt we'll see that happen, but you never know.

OK, you will be missed.

(ha)

Thank god. I actually prayed last night that you would say exactly what you said. I guess wishes can come true

At least we will get a good draft pick next season
