I like your boldness doing a mock draft. Even the so called pros only get about 6-8 picks right. Yours looks pretty close to what could happen but I will say if TRENT WILLIAMS falls to 14 the Steelers should sell the farm to trade up and get him before Seattle takes him at 14.

I can almost guarantee the Steelers will not take Kyle Wilson. They would take Kareem Jackson before him.
As great as a cover corner Kyle Wilson may be, they want someone who plays the run much better, I think they like Kareem Jackson a lot more then Wilson.

So if your scenario rings true at least until 14, I would like the Steelers to trade up for Trent Williams.
Probably we will trade down a few spots and hope we can still get Pouncey or Kareem Jackson. Or hope Rolando McClaine or Joe Haden slip close enough for us to move up a bit.

Same trade with New Orleans. Their #95 for our #116, 151 and 155.

Believe me, I change this thing all the time. As you eluded to, it's all just a guessing game, but I hope to get a good percentage of the top 32 players. I'm hoping for 28. :hope: Then it comes down to how well I've placed the position to the team.

It's all gravy after that. I just have fun doing it, then seeing how it all pans out. :noidea:

Thanks for the input.

2 picks on centers in the first 3 rounds? Seems a bit excessive, although if Okung did drop to 8, I'd be all for getting after Al's pick and offering him the fastest guys on our team. If there's a way to get Okung and Pouncey in round 1 and follow up with a Chris Cook in the 2nd, that'd make my draft.

What? You got something against centers. :chuckle:

I failed to update that accordingly. Good catch.

You would want to trade up to get Calloway? He's got good upper body strength but doesn't look like anything more than a swingman a la Trai Essex.

I like Rolle as a guy but his NFL prospects are way overhyped. Wouldn't want him on my team.

I like your first version but don't like the second one. How could we possibly not even draft a CB? IMO Callaway, Rolle and Hoomanawanui are all being taken too early and I'm not very high on Rolle as a football player.

Actually, the trade up would be the 95th (Rolle) from New Orleans. We give our 4th and (2)5th's.

I think he's a late 3rd, to an early 4th so he fits the scenerio, so it works for me. I personally like his game. He had a layoff for a year, but I think he is athletic enough for that not to be a concern... and his intelligence can't be denied. :wink02:

Calloway moved up from my original to a probably more realistic position . Early to mid 3rd... and agreed, he may be just a RT "swingman", but with Colon's contract looming that may be more the position of need. If I considered LT, it would be Jason Fox, OT, Miami as a possibility, but I suppose the injury question is still there for me.
