Droughns could be a good pu for the brownies, that will be 3 brownies defensive linemen that went to the Broncos this year, whats up with that????

Good pickup, Ekuban wasnt all that good but is Droughns a system RB?

I agree with the system running back, but the brownies have now lost three DL to Den. if the trade goes through. Now you know there committed to a 3 -4 D

So Denver paid for this huh? I don't get it. I think The Browns might actually be getting a good deal. Need to improve your defense, buy the guys that made up the worst run defense last year. Need a babysitter too, Denver? I hear Michael Jackson is available.

Olandis Gary

Mike Anderson

Clinton Portis

All proven to be a product of Shannahan's system....

I don't know much about Droughns but I hope he's not a system RB

As for our D-Line....

C-Brown was never healthy anyways

Ekuban was overpaid and an underachiever

Warren was a problem with his attitude especially his "BIG BEN" comments and he never lived up to potential....

Those losers can go, the only one I wanted to stay was Courtney because if healthy he could've been productive.....

Browns still need a proven line. Everyone who carries the rock in Denver gets a 1000+.

We have a decent if not good line.

We added a pro-browler(Andruzzi) and Cosy Coleman who is good. Jeff Faine will now step it up with great guards

This is a good pick up for you BKA. I think Droughns is the type of back who does not need the best offensive line to be effective.

Even better than getting Droughns was getting rid of Brown, Warren, and Ekuban.

yup, its official now..

what i cant understand is, the clowns had a sorry ass defense last year, and these defensive lineman are the same ones that gave up 280 yds to jailbird jamal !!!

Just like I said BRC, so Brownies...if these guys gave up 200 yards last year who are you getting to replace them, so you don't give up 300 this year?

Romeo Crennel

Droughns the only way for him to repeat what he did last year is for him to stay in Denver.

ironcitychef

funny didn't know Romeo was like Cowher and could come off the sideline and tackle.

Brownskikass
04-02-2005, 12:57 AM
He cant tackle but he can make that defense better....

He made Troy Brown a WR a decent CB and he made a CB that never started in college, play damn good for the world champs(Randall Gay)

If Im not mistaken, our defense was ranked 15th in yards allowed last year and with Romeo and his defensive schemes, our defense COULD be frightening

denver has an awesome o-line coaching staff and an awesome o-line, he wont do very good with the browns

but now they have to decide between william green, suggs and him

c'mon already just commit to one damn RB

Hint: don't pick any cleveland RB for ur fantasy team

Brownskikass
04-02-2005, 01:07 AM
1)-William Green is on the trade block

2)-Our offensive line no longer reeks....Its pretty good

3)-Dont put any Cleveland Brown on your fantasy team let alone Cleveland RB!

Your offensive line doen`t reek???
Since when? Because you went out and picked up some free agents?
The first year that the brownies came back, They spent all thier money on offensive linemen from free agency. They picked up 2 or 3 previous pro bowlers. And they sucked, none of them were on the team for more than 3 years. Its the team , its the city, this is the most unlucky crap town I`ve ever seen. Dude you picked the wrong team.

Brownskikass

Joe Andruzzi-PRO BOWLER

Cosey Coleman-Solid O-Lineman, great upgrade

Jeff Faine-Third year 1st round pick-this is the year he develops

Ryan Tucker-Top Ten Tackle in the league

Ross Verba-Decent Tackle

Our O-line will be top 15 next year :)

I think we've officially found our new Bong boy here on SF !! Even IF these guys COULD be good together in the future...You're talking about a whole new scheme, new players, new FO personnel, everything new, I certainly dont think you REALLY expect the clowns to be something even remotely close to special in the first year of new system!

oh, and by the way, you mentioned about your defense being 15th last year.. guess what, ours was #1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brownskikass
04-02-2005, 09:45 AM
Our team will be nothing special...

5-11 or 6-10...maybe 7-9 at best....

15th defense is amazing for the players on that team....

BlitzburghRockCity
04-02-2005, 09:56 AM
I think it'll be even more amazing if you can have a top 15 defense after half your team left this year.

Brownskikass
04-02-2005, 10:05 AM
Courtney Brown, Gerrard Warren, Ebuneezer Ekuban, Earl Little, Anthony Henry, Robert Griffith....

Those were all starting defensive players that were let go....

Can you say....6-10!

BlitzburghRockCity
04-02-2005, 10:06 AM
for my sake, Yep, sure can.. for your sake, Im so sorry :toofunny:

I must say BKA...

IF, there ever was atleast a semi cool clowns fan on the planet, you'd get my vote!! Understand, I dont think I'll ever bring myself to say that anything related to the clowns is cool, but you're pretty damn close dude.

Droughns a hold out already, Threaten to miss mini camp next month, and has already said that he will miss all of training camp if his two year deal he has now, is not ripped up and re-done. AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW thats to bad, trouble in stains town. lol

Brownskikass
05-02-2005, 12:50 AM
In trouble??? Whys that? We have Lee Suggs and last time I knew Suggs would be the starter anyway....After all Droughns is just a product of the system. Anywhoo he wont get big bucks....Hes not worth it

HinesWard4Life8682
05-02-2005, 04:16 PM
do you think lee suggs will get cracked by joey porter like william green did :toofunny:

Brownskikass
05-02-2005, 10:42 PM
What? Cracked? The only thing that happened was Willy spit in his face. He didnt get 'cracked'.

BlitzburghRockCity
05-02-2005, 11:14 PM
he came damn close to getting cracked though. Joey will throw down w/ anybody, any day. Reminds me of another beast LB we used to have.. I think his name was Greg Lloyd!

Suggs is just to injury prone to carry the rock week after week, he`ll be alright here and there.
