Good effort, but I think this is the CLEAR AND CONCLUSIVE picture of the TD.

Ok, here's the cap guys. My computer was being a pain in the but, so I had to resort to using my camera to take a picture of the DVD passed on my TV so it looks a little burry. So, if I get it fixed later, I'll post a better one.

Here it is:

GAME.....SET.....MATCH!

TOUCHDOWN!

The thing that makes this picture so perfect is the glove on Ben's throwing hand. It is white compared the dark ball. Print out this picture and shove it down the throat of every moaning, whining Steeler hater or Seahawk lover!

Too blurry, but if that brown thing there is the ball, he is in. I agreed that the officials should leave it the way it was, with really no way to overturn it.

Stupid question, but is the ball in his left or right hand? I can't see were it is

What else is brown and in the hand Roethlisberger was carrying it in?

Too blurry, but what's that brown thing?

The picture is slow "blurry" that I can actually see Roeth's thumb of the hand with the ball. Yeah....really blurry.

WOW!

Since his left hand is completely visible and has nothing it in, I think it's in his right.

How many times have you seen this replay? It's in his right....clearly.

I think he made it originally. All the whiners want to say the ball was down his body when he hit the ground. I watched it over and over today and it looked like he made it. There was no evidence to prove otherwise.

Look at the first pic, what you are seeing is the front edge of his shoulder, not the ball crossing. Ben admitted it publicly.

there's no way that's his shoulder unless his body mutated for a second or two there. Ben admitted he didn't think he got the TD, but the replay cameras showed differently

All I'm saying is that pic is not the ball but rather the gold band on his sleeve and the man himself who carried the ball admitted he didn't make it in.

With the circle, line and arrow, I couldn't make it out either. The new one is better.

ON David Letterman he did admit he didn't think he got in.. But he also said they were ready to go for it on 4th and I'm sure we would have gotten in then.. I almost wish we would have just to shut everyone up about it.. a sneak at 1 inch would have been a for sure thing... we'll never know and we don't have to know.. were super bowl champs babY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone check to see where the ball was when a knee or elbow touched the ground? If he was laying on someone, the stretch would be valid.

Someone needs to post a picture of the "phantom" holding call. That one's conclusive.

When I saw the replay on that call, I thought he had the guy in a headlock. Too much has happened since then so I'd like to see a pic too just to make sure I wasn't seeing things or to see if I was wrong.

Honestly it does not matter because the Steelers won. However, the ball clearly did indeed cross the line as has been shown many times. The refs do not have hours to spend reviewing this as we all have so the call needs to go to the ref on the field as it did on Sunday. We would have to live with his call either way. Having spent quite a few years working the sidelines in the NFL I can honestly tell you that these refs do their absolute best to make the right call during full speed, game time situations. It was so close that if the ref saw him cross the line, then he crossed the line. No video or picture is able to prove otherwise so that should be the end of this story.

If you look at the pic closer the white thing is not his glove he doesnt wear a white glove but it is his sweatband on his right arm and if you follow it up you can see his black glove and the ball is being held inbetween the glove and the sweatband. In my opinion its a touchdown. Doesnt matter anyway they would have got it on fourth down.

Exactly :iagree:

You still find people whining on other teams boards saying it wasnt a TD, he didnt cross the line, :blah: Get over it already ! We scored, we won, we're the champs, end of story.

Hey, man. It keeps saying "The server failed to execute your request because the requested image was not found on this server." :bouncy:

Well, anyways. My favorite part is that when Troy offers his part right before the move. I just loved seeing him trying to take on for the team. Sometimes I wonder what if Troy jumped over the guys, or what if the Bus actually carried it. LOL :bouncy:

Actually, if you look a little to the right of the circle I think I see the Loch Ness Monster having his way with Bigfoot.

Did the ball cross? All I know is that it was freakin close and a call was made. Its obvious that it was too close to overturn. End of story. TD. Refs have to make tough calls every game. Hopefully the Hawks will be back to the SB before too long and get an opportunity for one to go their way.
