Well I would guess Ben would only get 4 games if he can keep away from trouble when the season starts and I would be happy with a 2 and 2 start.

5-1, lone loss coming from Baltimore, and really tight games against the titans and falcons

i say 2 losses but its impossible to tell. if i said last year that we would lose to the raiders, browns and twice to the bengals everyone here would of told me how dumb i was and that i didnt know anything about football. of course you all want to belive the steelers will make playoffs every year but thats not realistic

Dixon takes the team to 6-0 and a big fat giant QB controversy will ensue. Dixon has all the tools necessary to do it and is far more mobile then BB. The Rooney's don't need much of an excuse and if they see what I think they are gonna see with Dixon running the show BB is gonna have a hell of a time coming out of the dog house with them.

BB still has to deal with RENO every time, every game, every analyst is going to talk about it and smash on it and right now it is a big fat RED BUTTON issue to Art II. The analyst's have something to chatter on about for the rest of this season regardless of what the team does.

I hate the place BB, and Holmes has dragged the team to. I really think BB is innocent until proven guilty but the media does not. The TEAM is what matters to Art II and you know Dan over in Ireland has had his input on the matter as well.

Maybe BB comes out and fires this team up after his suspension and takes them to another SB and wins and gets all kinds of air time to talk about his mistakes and how he has changed possibly making the comeback of his career with the public and the media. Everyone loves a comeback story don't they? Not to mention winners are always forgiven and rings speak volumes when it comes to the NFL.

No, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad. And in the last 40 years that's pretty much what they've done. 26 playoff appearances in the last 40 years.

I said 4-2. The losses probably won't come where I think though, they never do.

I picked 6-0. So I'm a winner. RIGHT?:noidea: Seriously I don't see any reason why we're not. JUST RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!

All I know is that if we win the division and can get a bye week in the first game of the playoffs... you can pretty much bet we're favorites to take it all the way...

We split whatever games Ben is missing.

I dont think you completely understand what it means to be mobile. Dixon can run with the ball better, but that's not very important. Big Ben moves around the pocket a lot better, understands where his blockers are, and i think we all know nobody in the league is better at getting the completion off while dodging sacks and having defenders hanging off of his jersey.

just running the ball wont work. 1st our line isnt the best and 2nd they will stack the box if all you can do is run. we need dixon or leftwich to be able to air it out to keep the defense honest if we want a chance at winning anything without ben

I don't see any of those games that we SHOULD lose. But I put 5-1 to account for the fact that there always seems to be some random game we lose for no good reason.

2-4.........we were a comedy act down the stretch last year. Pitiful.

If Troy's knee gives..........zippo. But maybe Dwyer is that power runner we have been missin. And maybe McFadden can at least cover somebody...maybe. We'll see.

Well remember folks, the Bye Week does NOT factor into the weeks Ben is suspended. So he is suspended Weeks 1-7 if suspension stays 6 games.

I said 4 and 2 I think we will be just fine.

I picked 5 and 1. None of those teams have a stiffling defense besides Baltimore. this team has enough talent to win 5 games without Ben.

I'd Love to see 6-0 but reality is telling me 4-2 with a possibility of 5-1.

Of course if the defense isn't fixed we'll be lucky to see 2-4 no matter who the QB is. :banging::banging::banging:

I say 4-2. The defense rebounds, the offense does enough to win four and enough to lose two, but they'll be close. I think Dixon will be the difference maker in the four wins and he'll show his lack of playing time in the two loses. I say the two loses are the titans and the ravens.
