Ciron Black NOT signed

Like everyone else...I saw several sites claiming that Black had signed with the steelers...here is the truth from David Smoak with the Sports authority


A couple of websites were reporting L.S.U. offensive lineman Ciron Black had signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, Black sent me a text at 11:40pm on Saturday night, "No, I'm still unsigned and those reports are only rumor."

For those who have contacted me asking why Ciron wasn't drafted, my league sources are telling me it was due to a health issue and a knee injury.

Looks as if no one has signed him yet, but there is still rumor that he may go to the Steelers or to Jacksonville.

He knows that he is one of the UDFA big names and may be waiting to see what teams call.

I was viewing another board and a member contacted him directly through his facebook account.

Ciron Black replied to the steeler fan and confirmed that he was not signed with the steelers. ( see the third post in the link below)
