YOU THINK? :coffee:
Idk what happened but something worth looking at is seeing how he was in Pittsburgh international. Maybe some people let some steam out of their minds to him and his ****y ass talking smack back. What a great way to leave the city lol. Hes the Jets problem now. Drop a pass or blow a game and see how theyll treat him around where I live at.

O since he's no longer a Steeler, this might as well be moved to the NFL part.

Here is another in a long line of my "Dino 6 Ring's best guess at the conversation as it may have taken place"

"Please be sure to turn off all electronic devices including phones and radios as they may interfere with the plane's communication system"

"sir, can you please turn off your ipod?"

"What! Do you know who I am?!!! Fck you lady, get me a drink and shut up!"

"Sir, please turn off the radio"

"Go to hellllbitch"

"Captain, we have a passenger being disruptive"

Have a nice time in NY moron.

"disruptive" because of an iPod? Sounds silly.

I guess he didn't get a chance to take the edge off before the flight. :chuckle:

For real! Goodell need to protect the shield. With all the crap he has been involved in, he needs to sit a few games besides the the 4 for the drug test.

Holmes' lawyer just release a statement that he has a sworn affidavit from another passenger, stating that he, not Holmes, was the one who refused to turn off his iPod.

WPXI: Former Steeler Holmes escorted off plane in Pittsburgh
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/steelers/s_678956.html

Friday, April 30, 2010

PITTSBURGH — Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes had to be escorted off a plane Thursday night at Pittsburgh International Airport, investigators said.

Channel 11 News reporter Renee Kaminski said the incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Investigators said Holmes wasn't arrested but was escorted off the plane for what they call being a "disruptive passenger."

The plane was docked at Gate D77 when a "disturbance" involving an iPod and refusal to comply with flight crew demands was reported, investigators said.

Earlier in the night, the following tweet was posted to Homes' Twitter account: "Only guy on the plane headed to Pitt from NJ, wearing my green n white. GO JETS!"

Earlier this month, the New York Jets acquired the talented but troubled wide receiver from the Steelers in return for a fifth-round pick in the NFL draft.

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan claimed the incident was a misunderstanding over Holmes' iPod, TMZ.com is reporting.

Ryan said, "Let's face it, he should've turned off his iPod," according to TMZ.

Holmes has been suspended without pay by the NFL for the first four regular-season games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. However, he's eligible to participate in the team's offseason program and in all preseason practices and games.

Holmes has 235 career catches for 3,835 yards and 20 touchdowns, but also brings his share of off-field issues, which could explain the relatively low price the Jets paid to get him.

The 26-year-old Holmes is facing a civil lawsuit in Florida from a woman who claims he threw a glass at her, cutting her above the eye, in an Orlando nightclub. The police also have been investigating the woman's claims. Holmes denies hurting the woman, and a witness has since taken responsibility for tossing the glass, according to Holmes' lawyer.

In 2008, Holmes was arrested for possession of marijuana, and he was involved in a domestic violence incident in 2006. The misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

The 5-foot-11 Holmes, a first-round pick out of Ohio State in 2006, adds a speedy complement to the Jets' passing game. He's coming off the best season of his career statistically, after having 79 catches for 1,248 yards and five touchdowns.

look, he's a bad apple - his track record continues to prove that. I love his talent on the field - but it ends there and we will miss that but we had to move him on - he may be in jail in no time.

I think this warrants an additional 6-game suspension - after all, this reflects negatively on the league.

On a side note, causing disruption on an airplane and only being escorted off? No 10-hour (at least) grilling session by the FBI?

His actions are disrespectful to the great and powerful GODdell. Since he's all ready on suspension GODdell will probably put him on suspension for the whole year. (Wizard of Oz reference deliberate)

You would think he would learn by now and just do what he is told. Somehow his stoner attitude and sense of entitlement have not been humbled. Somebody has an ego problem.

I can't really blame 'Tone for not wanting to turn off his ipod... That new Eminem song about Ben is awfully catchy...

Hope he doesn't go and get himself suspended for the Steeler game in December. Looking forward to Clark lighting him up over the middle.
