I am sick of Holmrens whining about the refs! Quit trying to steal our glory! T\

Three things for Mike and the Seahawks fans.

First off Ben was in the endzone, thats what it says in the stats, we got 6 points for it, so now its written in stone.
But if Ben would have been ruled not in, we would have went for it and got it on fourth down. Its over, get over it! Nothing is going to change!

The refs always suck! Nothing changes! I agree with the refs bad calls Sunday, especially the two big ones.
1. Jeremy Stevens had a catch, took at least three steps, and drop the ball. Before we picked it ip the ref blew his whistle. And he called it know catch! BULLSHIT! We couldn`t review because he blew the whistle before we picked it up!
2. On Bens inteception, he got clearly blocked in the back! No call. what &^%(%(%(^%! Refs suck, Jolmgrens right, we should have won by 18, they suck! Did I say that they suck! Oh yeah they suck! Its a conspiracy! They suck!

i wont bash holmgren. he was pissed as im sure cowher would be. his comment on having to play the refs didnt bother me at his welcom back rally either. he pretty much had to say something to the crowd to keep them fired up for next season other than "i called a horrible game"

Don't let that bother you... I liked what they said on PTI, they both talk about how this doesn't tarnish what the Steelers accomplished. It just tarnishes the officials. The Steelers did nothing wrong, they just showed up and played. Every team in every game is the victim of questionable calls and in two years noone will remember the officiating, but everyone will know we got that elusive "One for the Thumb".

F_CK HOLMGREN! First he doesn't shake Bill's hand at the end of the game and then he goes back to the 12th man and lies. Instead of blaming it on the refs (easy cop out) he should have said that I suck at clock management. My team didn't convert 3rd downs when they needed to. My recievers can't do the football basics like catch and drag a toe. F-CK that POS walrus muthaf_cka!!

That is all true....nothing should tarnish the Steelers victory.....but the officials sure do have a black eye after that one.

Holmgren's comments were classless and out-of-line. I look for him to take a hit by the NFL. Dude's been in the league long enough to know that such comments are not tolerated by the NFL.

...not to mention that his comments were simply inane....and completely untrue.

His team should learn not to hold.....not to commit pass interference....and to actually catch the balls thrown to them. If they do that, then maybe they will win a Super Bowl like the Steelers did this year!

Holmgren should have thought before he spoke to the fans about fighting against the officials in the SB too... not a class move but I can see why he's pissed.

He had to say something his team tried to win the game, to bad they did not have fan support and any leadership other than there QB.

I lost all respect for him as a coach, and before this game I thought was a good guy. And what was up with his greed Motivational speech before the game,

Holmgren showed the Seahawks the winner’s share ($70,000+ in 1 dollar bills I guess it was all about the money baby for the Seahawk team.

Cowers Speech, lets win this one for Mr. Rooney, Jerome and the city of Pittsburgh.

X -Holmgren Fan No excuse for after the game behavior, none.

X- Bradshaw Fan No excuse not to be there for his team and the Burgh.

I can't believe he was so pathetic he wouldnt shake Cowher's hand! I dont care about what he says or any of that crap, but to not shake his hand after the game, he is a POS. Please tell me we play them next year, please! If we do, I feel sorry for their team, that will be the only game I want the Steelers to run up the score as much as possible.

We aren't going to play you unfortunately, believe me it would make more than the Seahawk fanbase's year to play you, as to why it happened...simple, pure chaos. Mike and Bill are friends in RL, a football game will never change that, unless you are the part of the media looking for a story to sell.

Mike himself was angry he couldn't get to Bill and shake his hand, end of story, unless you really believe that he would be so classless, check his Superbowl loss before this and you have your answer.

I believe Tunch & Wolf both have said that Holmgren later went to the Stiller lockerroom to congradulate Cowher as-soon-as he could.

With the tightly-scripted-for-time post-game presentation to be televised onthe fieldd, it's entirely possible (probable? ) that Holmgren couldn't get to Cowher, who hasn't made a fuss about this subject:
if Cowher is OK with-it, I am, too.

Whatever chaos there was after the game Holmgren should have made the extra effort to find Bill Cowher and shake his hand on the field!! not in a hallway outside of a locker room.

The Bottom line , we win!

I do beleive Holmgren would have shaken hands, no matter what he think of the refs, he can`t blame Bill.

I`m just pissed that Ben under htrew a wide open Wilosn in the endzone, or we would have been up 28-3!

HEY Remember This NFL Network Commercial

"The First Thing I'd Do, is Fire Mike Holmgren"

Remind you of a commercial?

Just wanna chime in and correct a couple of misconceptions about Holmgren before everyone has him burning in Hades...

1. Holmgren DID look for Cowher at the end of the game, but both coaches went to the wrong 25 yard line. By the time they realized the other one was on the other side of the field, the losing team and coaches were being escorted off to prepare for the victory rally. Holmgren then waited in the tunnel until Cowher came off the field, and shook his hand then.

2. Holmgren's speech did NOT center around the game's paycheck of $70,000. This is an internet rumor that got started on gameday and has passed through a lot of message boards. I believe it first appeared in an editorial column somewhere Sunday evening.

3. Holmgren has only made ONE comment about the officiating since the game, and that was when he told the crowd at the Seattle rally that he didn't think the Seahawks would have to battle against the men in stripes (in addition to Steelers). That was IT! Considering how controversial a lot of people think the officiating was, I think Holmgren and the rest of the team has done a stand-up job of not making a big deal out of it.

You guys can hate on Mike Holmgren all you want, but I just want to make sure it's not for the wrong reasons!

I know people who were at the game and at the end of the field that Holmgren walked onto after the game ended. They said it looked like Holmgren couldn't find Cowhers. Then he got whisked away by the event officials. They were shocked to hear Holmgren was being criticized because their initial take was that Cowhers was too busy celebrating to shake Holmgren's hand. When they say the story later that showed Cowhers was looking for Holmgren, they understood it was just due to post game chaos and both guys were trying to meet up.

As for the line Holmgren said about the refs.... I am disapointed he said it. I don't think it accomplished anything postive for him and his organization and I would expect more of him as a leader. In fact, most of the Seahawk players have been much better letting the officiating problems go and taking responsibility for their uncharacteristic mistakes.

Holmgren should sucked it up and let the rest of the writers and NFL fans without allegiances to the Seahawks comment about the NFL's referee problems.
