I'd rather see him than Jake the Fake anyday. But still BS that Ben didn't get in. He's only the Superbowl champion quarterback. :dang:

I would take that over McNair. Carr has potential, McNair is past it.

alright then, now i know why some of ya'll was complaining. that's pretty damn gay, might as well put in david carr too exactly! but the rooneys are already paying ben plenty of jack for winning the sb as far as bonusses go. it would probably be another @250,000 if he made the pro bowl. (i think winning the sb got him an extra half a mil.)

but plummer and mcnair (who i think has been a great pro) would gladly trade their careers for bens already. regular seasons #s alone says ben deserves it over those 2 but im thinking he wouldve had to decline because of his thumb injury and youth. hes had a long 1st 2 years. (even brady got a break from the playoffs in his 2nd year starting)

Yeah...they may have approached Ben...and ben turned it down....

LOL..I heard Ben's going to be at the Grammys tonight...damn..he's living the life now....

Let him take the season off and get his thumb back to 100% for next year. Even though it worked well for 3-4 playoff games, I don't want to see any gloved QB's under center for the Steelers next season.

Id understand the fuss if Ben had a stellar year and didnt win anything.....but he is the reigning SB winning QB!

Who cares about the pro-bowl?

Its one less pointless game for him to get injured in.

Stop hating on McNair!

Maybe Ben was asked to go but said no cuz he wanted some rest.

You gotta be kidding me.

Who's next in line? Kyle Boller, Trent Dilfer?

I'm not even sure if I'll watch now...Carson and Manning throwing the ball would've have been entertaining, but Trent Green and Steve McNair? C'mon now.

Wow, this his hilarous watching him in the AFC Practice.

Lorenzo Neal ran out in the flat, wide open. McNair UNDERTHROWS him. Neal just looks at him and someone in the crowed yells "No Air McNair! You suck!" and it's a fairly empty stadium so it echoed. Hilarious.

He looked remarkably average in the game yesterday...

He looked remarkably average in the game yesterday...

Saying that he's average is giving him way too much credit. The guy is just getting old. He used to be a great and tough QB. Time to hang it up for him.
