7% isnt that bad. And with out fan base the tickets will sell no matter what. Im trying to get tickets for the Patriots and Jets games at Heinz and im lookin forward to pay up. Im also heading down to Miami this year to watch the oct 24th game so I cant wait already. Its a part of the business, and with the forecast of labor talks. I want to soak in as much football as possible.

Those cheap, greedy Rooney's!

Seriously, they didn't raise the prices this years, so it's commensurate with a COLA type 3.5% per year cost increase...

Since when does the face value of the tickets have any bearing on what fans actually pay for the tickets? Unless you're a PSL holder, you'll be paying market value. Which means if the Steelers are good this year, you'll be paying an arm and a leg. And if they're bad this year, it will just cost you an arm.

Doesn't matter to me. I plan on paying$130-140 for cheap upperdeck seats anyway but it doesn't matter as long as I'm there with my team.

I have a savings just for NFL Sunday ticket... I'll try to estimate to pay for the entire season in advance. Then try to check out 1 reg season game and 1playoff... When we make it to the SB this year I might try to make it down to Dallas... if not to see the game, but to hang out for the parties afterward.
