This funny piece of work was done by a fellow stiller fan who was posting on one of the Seahawk sites (We both had alot of fun on that site!) . Needess to say, they were pretty upset. It is very funny. But This was done yesterday so it may have gotten around by now - so I'm sorry if it is a dupe

Turn up the seakers, Click on the link, and enjoy. Be sure to listen to the whole clip. I've listened to it several times. It gets funier every time.

Is there anyway we can keep this thread on the very top for the rest of the offseason? It's only right. That way, when we have some moron come in here and cry and moan about the officiating we can simply point them to this thread.

Excellent find WNH5. :nw:

That would be a great idea to make it a sticky for the season. But thats up to the mods of course. Wouldnt it be great if the same 2 teams met next year? I think thats only happened once - the Cowboys and Bills. It would have happened twice in 1980 if the Cowboys didnt blow it against the Rams

Michael George Holmgren is a freakin' crybaby. YOU LOST TO THE BEST TEAM WHO HAS HAD THE BEST RECORD THE LAST TWO YEARS! GET OVER IT!!!!

Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-7 the last two years, 71-33-1 in the decade, and 7-3 in the playoffs with FIVE SUPER BOWL TITLES!!!!!

P.S. At least Michael Edward Shanahan wasn't weepy like this candy a:busted: s!

Thank God its Holmgren and not Cowher. IF we would have came up on the short end again this year, I can only think how bad it would have been for Cowher. Thank God. Cowher is the man.

Finally some indesputable evidence that the ball crossed the goal line on that play. I agree we need to keep this thread at the top to let the HATERS see the evidence!!!!!!!!!

You're darned right the Steelers won! After all, it's better to have 21 points than rather have 10...anyone for seconds (I watched NINE Steelers games I taped previously this weekend)!!!!!

William Laird Cowher on Michael George Holmgren: You lost...na, na, na, na, na, na :point:

:point: :crutches:

Look at how Seattle or..."Se-Ow-Tle" hurts!!!

Yeah, but it's better than that. Most of these pics don't get it right--the goal line in this pic is angling off into the distance but the true PLANE extends vertically from the gl directly under roethlisberger. Therefore the red line should rise vertially, not tilt away from ben. Sigh, I guess I'm gonna hafta make my own pic. :dang:

Thing is you can still argue the ball gets in even with the line tipping away from the plane! :bouncy:

Okay, for the record, here's what I'm talking about. Again, the plane extends from just below ben (see his shadow in both shots--that's where I start the line) VERTICALLY to infinity. In the first shot you can very clearly see the ball. In the second shot, I show an outline, but this isn't a guess as we can clearly see the ball is tucked into his arm/elbow in the first shot. In both shots, it's close, but it was a touchdown.

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but the slanted lines in pics floating around have been driving me crazy and I complained enough times it was time for me to shut up and put up.

It's so darn close. But the way I look at it, if the ball is one inch in front of Bettis's hand on the ground it is a TD. And by the looks of it, the ball and Ben's forearm are at least a few inches easily in front of Bettis' hand on the ground.

It's so close that if it wasn't called a TD on the field I wouldn't have expected the refs to overturn it the otherway either.

Inconclusive

Wheeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Can we make that pic any closer? That is the best one I've seen yet! Thanks!

Why not let the subject drop. Regardless if it is a touchdown or not there was absolutely no conclusive evidence for them to overturn the call. For the record, I feel he's in....but here's what I know for sure.... WE ARE THE SUPERBOWL CHAMPS AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US.
