This kid is milking it for all it's worth.

When this story first broke I was a little suspicious about this kid. You have to wonder If this kid said anything while wearing a Denver Bronco jersey in Pittsburgh before the AFC Championship game. I still feel this way.

Ya that happened at Beaver Falls, same High School I went to. The class that Mr Kelly (I actually took this class) teaches, has a lot to do with discrimination. He made the kid sit in the middle of the floor, just as a lesson, and I don't think there was any malicsious(sp?) intent behind it. This info that I got comes from one of my buddies little borther who was in the class.

Thats very odd... I would've told the teacher to shut the hell up.

We will find out if there was any malice (as opposed to simple stupidity) if Beaver Falls disciplines the "teacher" or, instead, fights the lawsuit that I have no doubt is coming.

Not having been there, it may just sound bad, but if its sounds bad the guy running the class should have kept his mouth shut or had a better explanation than the "I was just messing with him" quote I read.

so if a kid in denver ,wearing a steeler jersey had this happen to him, would you still feel the same way? and what if it were your kid? if it were my child, that teacher would be in the hospital having his teeth removed from his stomach.

I love it when parents get violent:rolleyes:

It was a etnicity class I heard, so I dont think it would of been out of bounds to use him as an example of discrimination...

When you wear a team's jersey in opposing team's territory, you're looking for attention, or at least to make a statement. It's not as simple as saying, "Hey, I like this team." No, you're saying, "Hey, I know a big game's coming up, and I'm wearing the opposing team's jersey." You're throwing yourself out there to be the center of attention. You put yourself in that situation, now take it like a man. Don't be a cry baby. He's getting all the attention he wanted.

I agree. This teacher took it a little too far.
