The Steelers' playoff run and trip to the Super Bowl all took place outside of their Heinz Field home base, but the ketchup company is making a bit of a splash out of its relationship with the team.

The H.J. Heinz Co. is introducing limited edition, commemorative World Championship ketchup bottles honoring the Super Bowl champions. The 14-ounce glass bottles should be available through April in both home and away versions for $5 per bottle at www.heinz.com.

In addition, Pittsburgh-area shoppers will find Steelers special edition, 24-ounce plastic bottles at Giant Eagle, Shop 'n Save, Foodland, Save-A-Lot and Wal-Mart locations. They will retail for around $1.79.

Heinz will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the glass commemorative bottles to the Jerome Bettis Bus Stops Here Foundation, which attempts to improve the quality of life for troubled and underprivileged children.

Collector is correct, I need these two items. I have the Terry Bradshaw/Immaculate Reception Heinz Ketchup Bottle. Hell I still have a Terry Bradshaws Peanut Butter.

I'll be up in Pittsburgh next week visiting my father for a couple of days so I'll have stop into Giant Eagle and pick a couple of bottles.

The Steeler Ketchup will be the perfect replacement for the "Tommy Maddox Barbeque Sauce" that I bought a couple of years ago as a collectors item............it's headed straight for the trash can.

That is a pretty cool signature you have! Fix for six in 2006! That might be the one that replaces one for the thumb!

Do you know if they have collector cans of Iron City Beer? Like the ones they produced for the Steelers in the 70's?

Crud.... I want one of each, but it will cost me $22.50 for FedEx shipping...... Somehow, I think that $32.50 for two bottles of Ketchup that I will never open is a bit much.... I guess I will wait for them to hit Ebay.....

When is Iron City Beer going to come out with some special cans?
I dont think they will. Rolling Rock is the official beer of the Steelers. Thats why Iron City came out with the Dan Marino and Joe Paterno cans, because they dont have the contract any longer with the Steelers. I`ve been a can collector since I was 12, and I get at least a case of all Steelers can,
